Hello Joe, Thank you for your review. When it is not mentioned in the listing that there is an elevator, it means that there is no elevator, take that tip for future bookings. Another tip: we did not mention that there are 39 steps but it is mentioned in the title of the listing that the apartment is in the 2nd floor. In Europe the ground floor does not count as a floor, so 2nd floor here = 3rd floor in USA/Canada. If you have a person with ashma, then you should be more careful looking at the listings before booking. If you look at our reviews in other platforms, most people don't compain about the stairs so I advise you take a good look and use the messaging system provided by the same platforms to ask questions before booking.
