La propiedad está en la orilla de la playa, lo que la hace excepcional al tener una vista hermosa desde las habitaciones, las albercas o incluso en los camastros ubicados en la playa. La mayoría del personal es muy amable y atento (a excepción de 2 personas que nos hicieron pasar un mal rato). Cerca del hotel hay tiendas departamentales, restaurantes y bares, por lo que es excelente ubicación. El aspecto negativo es que por algún motivo entra olor a aceite/comida frita por los ductos de ventilación desde las 7 a.m., lo que resulta bastante incómodo.

Jamás volveré a está cárcel llamada Hotel La seguridad es extrema y llega a ser sofocante. Te sientes vigilado, observado todo el tiempo, no te sientes como en tu casa, te sientes como en casa de alguien más que está listo para amenzarte si fallas en algo. Tuve una's visitas y los trataron de muy grosera manera, ellos se Ivan a hispedar ahí y prefirieron buscar otro Hotel. Puerto Vallarta es Hermoso, pero no te quedes nunca en Este Hotel

Creo que no hay buena comunicación con la aplicación y el hotel, la aplicación me puso que solo cobrarían 150 pesos por Limpieza y en el hotel me cobraron más, sin recibo de dinero ni ningún ticket, además pregunté a otros huéspedes y a ellos no les cobraron esa tarifa...

Solo lo único No hay donde estacionarse muy pocos lugares para el total de huéspedes Un solo día no supe donde estacionarme pues estaba lleno. Y la alberca hay que ponerle menos cloro pues pareciera que estabas nadando en cloro con agua. El restaurante sugiero que tengan bufete y más variedad de alimentos, así como TV más cómodas.

Limited dining - couldn't get a coffee after breakfast, kitchen was closed between breakfast (12pm) and lunch (1pm) Inconvenient - property is located on a hill making it difficult for seniors that don't walk very well, also people not staying at the resort weren't able to get into the resort to meet friends at the restaurant There was a sign at the resort advising what the taxi rates were. This sign is outdated. Also, the concierge may get taxi driver friends to pick up people as the taxi driver charged us twice the amount quoted saying the amount was per person. Unsafe - the door to our room looked like it had been kicked open showing light through the cracks in the door. The drain cover in the shower moved so a person could have stepped into the drain, hurting themselves. There wasn't a fridge in the room. The safe required a lock, which you could rent. The couch looked dirty. Some of the towels looked old. The maids didn't leave 2 of everything or missed them altogether e.g. facecloths. Happy Hour didn't include beer. Sometimes 2 for 1's were double charged.

Tropicana gives you this vibe of u being a movie-star from a golden era. Get a room with a view -3rd floor or so. Place has direct access 2 its own beach. Location is top-notch, so night-life is within walking-distance. Open-air corridors btw sections ensure you get no outside noise except for the sea waves by night -closing the window of balcony suffices. If u r on a budget, get the pizza option at the hotel before heading to the stylish restaurants around.

I found that the maid did an excellent job. We had a jr suite ( rm 609 ) snd found the room in need of major updates. Then bed and pillow were comfy, water pressure was great and always had hot water. Pool is missing a lot of tiles and needs repair. When you return ur towel, make sure that ur done with it for the day. They will not allow u to take out any more. They do not inform you of that rule. When taking a taxi back to the airport, walk down the street a bit as the hotel inflates the standard zone fare. This is our second time staying there and i dont think that we would return.

On arrival, the staff greeted us nicely and assisted with our baggage. Unfortunately the check in staff was unpleasant at the desk. We were told the room wouldnt be ready for 1 hour, eventually another staff member came by and took us up to our room as they were just finishing the floor. Yes the hotel is old and dated, but the room matched the photos and we expected it to be a bit dated. The location is amazing, easily accessible to everything. The beach is nice, however the beach chairs are not comfortable as are the pool chairs, but again it is a budget hotel. Towels are provided each day and returned by the end of the day for no charge. The pool worked well for us, some days was busier than others but overall we enjoyed it. We ended up getting a Jr suite with our booking, so we were lucky to have a fridge. We had talked to some other guests who didn't have a fridge but they were able to find a Styrofoam cooler and ice for their drinks. We didnt eat at the restaurant, and heard from other guests to avoid it. In a pinch it might be an okay option to eat. We would definitely stay again if we are in PVR

Firstly, I would like to acknowledge Noemi at the front desk for being kind and accommodating. The bell boys were eager to help. There is a younger man at the front desk that was curt and rude. The maids were sweet and kind. The resort itself is dated and could use a refresh. Our shower drain was completely broken off and we had to be careful that we didn’t step into the hole. The beach chairs are OLD and UNCOMFORTABLE. Where are the loungers. When I’m at the beach, like to lay down not sit in a SAGGY chair. If there’s one reason why I wouldn’t come back and to this resort is because of those beach chairs. All in all I give this Hotel a 3/10

We stayed for 10 days. Ask for Fernando, he is excellent he remembers what you are drinking and checks on you (pool/beach). Housekeeping came by approximately same time everyday and cleaned the room, left a work of art with the towels....Just know you can use Uber down there it is cheaper than the taxis. We love it!!!!!

Nous n avons pas eu notre chambre avec balcon le premier soir, ils nous ont dit que c etait plein de monde et avons eu la chambre 135. Désolant pour le prix payer. Le lendemain avons changé de chambre et tout était bien. Mais je ne comprends pas pourquoi une nuit dans chambre sans balcon.

It is a beautiful property, very clean every day. Employees are nice to work with and helpful with answers. Love the pool and bar area. I wish they used fabric softener on the shower towels, and i wish there were more than one outlet in the Jr. Suite. Some outlets by the bed would be nice for phone and alarms in the morning. Beautiful views from this property too.

The Tropicana had a wonderful beach area and wonderful service. The rooms and hotel grounds were very clean. The only downside would be that the elevators ding really loudly and woke me up in the mornings. It would also be nice if you could get food service (especially morning coffee) to your room.

We requested a room change to double beds (from one king) and the front desk was very accommodating despite the property being sold out. In particular Victor was extremely helpful and professional in meeting our needs. This property is a gem. Location is unbeatable on the beach. 2 large pools. Rooms are not in the most up to date condition, but maintained well and very reasonably priced compared to the neighboring hotels.

The internet did not work most of our stay there. High speed internet was advertised but not available. The exterior building was run down and not in good repair. I wouldn't book this if you need internet for work or other reason. The one good thing about this hotel is that it is close to the downtown area and near good restaurants.

Very well located right on the beach, friendly staff, great pool and restaurant area. Please be aware there is NO parking in the hotel. They claim to have parking but there is never room, they want a tip to give you access to a spot "just happen to open" if you give them a tip, and getting in and out of the 'lot' is impossible due to the tight set up. Because the hotel is located in a very small street, street parking is generally not available either. Best parking is a few blocks away.

Two stars: one for a place to sleep, one for air conditioning (a noisy portable wall unit). Otherwise, nothing to recommend about this place. Dirty walls, water spots on ceiling, crumbling grout, mold around the shower, ancient appliances, super thin walls. Location is excellent, however - right on the beach. Which is good, because you won’t want to spend any unnecessary moment in your room.

Cheap and cheerful. Not a fancy hotel, but clean, lovely staff, great beach, great location, lots of restaurants nearby. Good restaurant, nice breakfast included in rate. Excellent views. Have stayed here often and love it.
