Nice renovated hotel but bad service.
Pretty good looking rooms and hotel. Pretty crowded especially at the buffe. Hotell service was really bad, got a broken tv in the room. I talked to guest service 3 times before they sent a technichian and he said it was working, i didnt agree. The following day i contacted guestservice again and they sent the same tech guy over. I showed him that it was actually broken (pink line over the entire screen) and after that he replaced the tv. We didnt even get a verbal we are sorry after this from staff. Day 2 they called the room 20:45 when i had gone to bed telling me i have to come up to guestservice (at least 5 min walk away) to pay the room because they forgot it at our check in. Couldnt wait to morning after. This wasnt big misstakes but it made us enjoy the hotel less. We stayed at 3 other hotels during our stay with alot better service.

We stayed five nights at the Caribe Deluxe. Overall, a great experience. The facility was probably maintained and cleaned. The dining could do with some varieties, but overall good. My only concern was the poor wifi connection, especially in the room.

Upon arrival, check-in was swift and accompanied by a refreshing complementary drink. The resort's transportation system proved efficient. However, the initial excitement waned upon entering the room. The space felt damp and inadequately cleaned. Requested bed sheet replacements due to stains and hairs were repeatedly forgotten, necessitating multiple reminders. Regrettably, this lack of attention to detail extended to housekeeping, as our room was overlooked for cleaning on two occasions, requiring persistent calls for rectification. The highlight of the resort was its stunning beach area, complemented by various bars and food options. Unfortunately, the culinary experience failed to meet expectations. Across multiple restaurants, including the buffet, the food lacked quality and flavor, leaving much to be desired. Entertainment proved to be a mixed bag. While the Michael Jackson tribute, impressed, others fell short, with one evening no having a show. Despite guest complaints, the resort failed to address this shortfall adequately, leaving guests without alternative options for amusement. Perhaps the most concerning aspect of my stay was the resort's handling of a volatile situation involving another guest. Despite exhibiting violent behavior and causing damage, the individual was continually supplied with alcohol, exacerbating the situation. This lack of responsibility and concern for guest safety left a lasting impression of discomfort and unease.

I stayed at this resort because they advertised they have celiac dining options. However we were able to get into only 2 restaurants as they were booked and full prior to our arrival. The only gluten free option in the buffet was soggy bread. Nothing else was labeled. I lived on plain salad and fruit. The food options even without being gluten free were awful. The meat was disgusting. Food was terrible. Many of the staff were very unfriendly. Our room was not ready upon check in time. Alcohol was bottom shelf options only. Fridge in room never got cold. Went to little store for a snack. Snickers bar cost 6.00 Best part of the resort was the wild life walking around. Beach area was covered in seaweed. Definitely would not recommend or return to this resort.

Then under any circumstance our guests should be forced to attempt meetings or to buy anything if the client does not want to and based on another guests comment a simple “No, Thanks” is always enough to be bothered but if they continue bothering you, it is important to report it to our guest service department, in order we can take action. Resort was beautiful. Beautiful animals everywhere (Iguanas, Flamingos, Peacocks, Turtles, Ducks, and more). 24-hour Sports bar with lots of Flatscreen TV's, and games. Bowling, etc. The food was 0 out of 10. The service was worse. Its a nice place but I guarantee you wont like the food. None of it.

I paid for a superior room didn’t get was put in the tropical section . Didn’t get transportation code had to pay extra cash both ways for cabs to and from airport . Which was very stressful and used our us cash we had to spend . No money in atm machine at hotel . No towels and face clothes on a regular bases . Had to fight for them and the hotel had to send notes everyday in our room . I want a rebate for the stress and expensive we had to occur during our stay

No doubt the best vacation we’ve ever taken. Highly, highly recommend upgrading to the platinum package so you get access to the upgraded dining options, and private beach area. It is $40 a day and they treat you like royalty! The resort is meticulously clean, and every bathroom and restaurant, etc. is spotless. The staff are so friendly and never ask for tips, but they work so hard and are so deserving. The food is fantastic! My husband and I have dined at some of the best Michelin restaurants in the world, and the food here is comparable. That being said, we ate at La Cava and the Platinum club restaurants which are only included in the platinum restaurant. The only downside I would say, is having people trying to sell things up and down the beach or on the resort. The Royal Holiday Vacation Club was rather annoying (in the navy pants and pink shirts). Other than that- everything about this resort is amazing. The water is crystal blue with small waves, and the beach is white sand- truly paradise. We don’t want to leave!! We will recommend Caribe Deluxe Princess to everyone and we cannot wait to return! Martin, Agustin and the staff at the Platinum club are amazing!! You made our trip unforgettable and we will be forever grateful.

Pro’s; Beautiful lobby & grounds Great entertainment in the evenings at front lobby Tram rides from rooms to lobby run often! Beautiful, clean pools/beach area Friendly staff- mostly Great evenings shows in theatre Fun poolside/beachside entertainment Food in restaurants were good- get reservations upon arrival to resort, they book up fast. Con’s: Our friends did not receive (pre paid) ocean view room upon check in, however, they were offered, for an upgrade charge, to get it the following night. First flush and toilet overflowed Shower head broken Small toilet closet with toilet installed sideways, so you couldn’t sit on it straight, had to sit sideways to use it or knees hit the wall (and I’m short). Part of room floor flooded (on second floor) during a rain storm as water gushed in from under the door. Tile floors VERY slippery. Friend slipped and fell on damp floor down the two steps in room, got injured, spent 3 horrible days in local hospital. On site medic wouldn’t even access her without US cash up front. Safe did not work- got fixed with staff help Room phone did not work to call out. Food buffets were average, but clean and well kept. Keep an eye out for the hungry black birds and roaming cats. Fridge in room was warm, staff could not get it turned up. Glass carafe in coffee pot was broken upon arrival- staff got it replaced. Towel guy would not allow 1 person to exchange all 6 towels in our group.
