Staff was friendly welcoming, and some treated us like family. Upset with VIP room upgrade, we were placed way close to an entry were there was heavy traffic and staff were gathered. Lack of privacy and also noisy. Upon arrival we went to Seaside grill restaurant to have some lunch and while there a ceiling lamp fell to the ground landing on a table, loud bang and shattered plates and table settings. My husband and I were very startled. My husband suffers from Mental health issues he immediately fled and was reluctant enter the restaurant. Eventually he did, but we were careful to not sit under any lighy fixtures. We had chose MAJESTIC MIRAGE, because we had stayed at MAJESTIC ELEGANCE PRIOR. Staff (Bartenders, animation team and a few others were amazing and made up for the awful intro). On the second day we spoke to front desk and they set us up in another room, jacuzzi sky view with a broken Jacuzzi that did not retain water. Made the best of it anyways, resevations for bith the Japaneese Kabuki and Le Essence were also a challenge to reserve, but I guess since we mde them aware of the room upgrade and incident at the restaurant with falling light fixtures they kind of tried to make up.
