Back door was supposed to be locked... It was not. Area seems safe enough, but still.... The complimentary breakfast was less than minimal (cold cereal, 2 choices or instant oatmeal, make yourself pancakes, basic toast... No breakfast meat or juice or eggs or sweet rolls). Handicap room was exceptional! Bedside tables a bit far from bed... For handicapped person, too far to reach (nearly feel out of bed).

The property on the whole was good but the dryers on the laundry facility did not work properly they took 3 full cycles on heavy load todays medium load apart from that the stay was fine Amrit the young man at reception was exceptionally friendly and helpful

This is a good place to stop for the night. It is very close to the interstate, thus noisy if your room is facing the road. Ask for a room not facing the road. The breakfast is very limited. The pancake machine is cool, but not much more than that. Pancakes, toast, coffee, yogurt, fruit punch drink, cereal. No eggs or meet.

The highway side of the hotel is loud. Staff was nice enough to give us a different room the second night.

It's an older building. The rooms are not new but they are well kept and clean. It smelled really clean when we opened our room. It is very convenient and has great parking. You can’t beat the price.

Friendly, helpful staff! Not many breakfast options, but thankful for the pancakes, oatmeal and toast. Beds and pillows are comfortable, some run down areas in the bathroom floor. Hot water lasted a long time! I felt safe sleeping at the this road side motel. Of course it is a tad noisy when the big rigs veer off the road a little and make that awful sound “we all do it on the road “ lol but you are near a busy interstate so if this bothers you ask to have your room on the opposite side not facing the freeway. This is great for a night to stop off when tired. I would stay again when passing through Az .

wasn’t the cleanest place, in the bathroom and on one of the beds, there were a few long dark hairs. maybe they forgot to clean the bathroom floor? either way, it didn’t bother us as there was another bed and we were only there for one night. the wifi didn’t work. but the AC was strong and got cold super fast! parking was easy. they provided breakfast too but we didn’t partake.

Staff - especially Sharon was very helpful and friendly. I felt like my wife and I were being welcomed like family to this hotel. More personal and helpful than any other hotel experience out of very many over very many years! Sound proofing of the rooms could be improved by the doors between adjoining rooms having some kind of seals at the bottom where there is a large gap.

Bleak property
This was one of the bleakest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in. More like a prison cell than a welcoming hotel room, though very clean. Walls are very thin - you hear EVERYTHING from the next room. While they offer a complimentary breakfast, it’s pitiful and there’s no place to sit and eat, except for one table. The “dining area” and tiny lobby are the same. It’s really a sad property. Certainly not something I ever expected to pay close to $200 (including taxes) for a one-night stay. I would not stay here again.

Never stay in a room on the front side of this hotel as it faces Interstate 10 (about 200 feet from hotel- sounds like a racetrack). Some staff unfriendly. No room cleaning received on second day of a 3 day stay. Breakfast was a mixture (all together) of dry cereals, a pancake, or an orange. The coffee is OK. Bring lots of quarters if you have wash to do here as the Washer & Driers take 8 to wash and 8 to dry and the motel had only 4 quarters for making change. Otherwise the best motel in Quartzite as it is the only motel in town.

When checking in the office clerk took my credit card, then pressed a button on his computer and charged my room to the card I keep on file with Hotels.com for incidentals. That was okay, even though I wanted to use a different card. However, as I’m asking him to please NOT charge my card for our friends room, oops he pushed the button again. Both my friend and I asked him to void it out and charge my friends room on their card. He said he couldn’t that my friend should just give me the cash. It only got worse from there. Hotels.com shame on you for advertising this hotel! They charged us $225 per night! Shame on us for staying there! Thin towels all 2 of them. No hair dryer. No elevator and ice is only on 1st floor. Lastly, $4 for a Pepsi! Come on!!! This is a Super 8 for goodness sake.

We came for the gem show and this place had the only room left in town. The place was clean & check in was easy. My only complaint was other guests letting their doors slam at 6am and waking us up.

Desk clerk was not welcoming or friendly. I questioned what I was being charged, he told me he had no control over the charge. Not helpful at all. The floor in the room I was in was very sticky. My door lock was malfunctioning. I got locked out of my room and it took three different people to get my door open. Stain on one bedspread. Parking lot had trash.

The bed is tiny, more like a double than a queen. The staff is not overly helpful. The hotel hallway and our room smell terribly of marijuana. There is someone on the hall, potentially next door smoking pot. Asked to cancel and for a refund but was denied.

Clerk was very slow & inconsiderate, 6 people in line to check in for 30 minutes. Stuck with one customer, ignored the line. Breakfast was coffee , bread & pancake machine. Next to freeway, with truck noise all night long . Old time noisey window heater . How can this motel be recommended. Will use booking . Com next time.

Long checkin process
The check in lady didn’t seem to have any idea what she was doing. It took about 15 to 20 minutes to check in. They forgot to give us the WiFi code so I had to call them and when I got it it didn’t work. Never staying at a Super 8 hotel again.

Overally good stay
The room was clean and bed was comfortable. We asked for extra pillows and they got them for us. The only things wrong were; ice machine didnt work, the fan was loud and made a weird noise, and the shower head was way too low.
