Överlag ett bra hotell, men läget är värdelöst. Inga restauranger i närheten, det närmaste som finns är Kfc och det är ca 1km dit. Restaurangen på hotellet är inte så bra och väldigt dyr. Hyfsat trevlig personal, men har ingen direkt servicekänsla utan blir ibland nästan lite irriterade när man ber om något eller frågar. De flesta i restaurangen kan inte engelska så det är svårt att kommunicera. Hotellet är rent och fräscht, men den dagliga städningen är inte så bra. Varje dag(vi stannade 6 nätter) så saknades det handdukar, toalettpapper m.m, vilket blir ett irritationsmoment att hela tiden behöva kontakta receptionen för aott få tex handdukar. Hotellet ligger väldigt avlägset, hotellet har taxi-service, men endast vissa dagar. En dag möttes vi av ”taxi is closed today” och de kunde heller inte hjälpa till att boka en annan taxi, utan rekommenderade oss att gå ner på gatan. Väldigt konstig service, speciellt när dom har en ”taxi-skylt” i receptionen, där det står att man kan boka fram till 1 timme innan. Poolen är stor och bra. Dock endast 8 solstolar (vid 4 blir det skugga 13 och vid de andra 4 blir det skugga 15). Hotellet hade helt klart fått högre betyg om servicen hade varit bättre samt att det fanns något annat runt omkring!

Fruktansvärt!!!!!!!
Var ska man börja? Hotellet ligger helt utanför allt! Inga restauranger eller affärer så långt ögat kan nå. Ingen shuttle. Frukosten är enbart för chineser. Man kan bara sola till kl 13.00. Då försvinner solen från området. Personalen förstår ingen engelska.

Fint hotell men dåligt läge
Riktigt fint hotell, trevlig personal men läget var inte särskilt bra. Frukostbuffen var inte heller någon höjdare.

Best service!!!
The hotel has a very nice style and it's completely clean. Very nice pool and restaurant. My two friends and I got food poisoning from a restaurant in Phuket. We got very, very ill and the hotel couldn't have been more helpful. They were extremely nice and they sent us water, some food, got us the needed medicine and let us check out very late for no extra cost. Best service so far in my life!

The property is relatively nice. The staff is mostly young, inexperienced and a few initially had attitudes. An individual attitude did come around to become very pleasant. Another was apparently not a pleasant person.

It's okay if you don't mind the remote location
Location is not fantastic. It is far from the lively area, which is Patong beach. I remember this place as having a high rating for location, which is one of the main reasons why I booked this place. Ended up having to call a taxi pretty much everywhere.

Pool is the Best Feature
This hotel is very close to Phuket Bus Terminal 2. It is a short walk 7 minutes. It is in a quiet location so no need to worry about noise. When I stayed, it did not appear that busy. The food is expensive but there are some awesome eats on the main road for cheap. The pool looks amazing, did not have time to get wet as I stayed for a short time. The decor is very modern too. The room was clean. The shower could use a good scrub and same with the balcony.

Very hard bed and nothing around
Bed was super hard, not comfortable. Breakfast options were very limited, mainly Asian dishes. Far away from restaurants and shops. Location good only to go to Ratsada pier or Marina Phuket

Great Value for your money
Pros: Great value for the money, staff is very attentive (Gun is amazing), cleanliness of the hotel. Con(s): Towels could be better, lobby is outside so fans would be great at combating the heat.

Ruhiges Hotel mit Zeit zum entspannen
Das Hotel ist modern und sauber. Das Personal ist stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Pool ist super. Ich kann ein Zimmer mit eigenem Poolzugang empfehlen. Das Hotel ist abseits von Attraktionen in Phuket gelegen, so dass man sich selbst um ein Fahrzeug kümmern muss. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist auf asiatische Kundschaft ausgelegt. Leider ist dort nicht viel für den europäischen Geschmack vorhanden. Hier sehe ich noch Potenzial zur Verbesserung.

Rooms were clean, and pool looked nice. Breakfast was ok enough and staff was polite and helpful. Located far from anything, we had our own car. Alot of Chinese guests with tour bus.

Hotel bom . Quarto super confortável com microondas, geladeira , sacada. Café da manhã só p asiáticos p nós ocidentais uma fruta e pão com manteiga. A piscina é bom água boa. A única coisa que nós não gostamos é que o hotel é longe do centro de Phuket e de tudo . Para sair do hotel dependemos do transporte do hotel que é no mínimo o dobro dos outros lugares.

Le look de l'hôtel et le design de la chambre sont vraiment bien. La piscine est grande et magnifique. À ce chapitre, l'hôtel est une aubaine à 60 $ la nuit. Par contre, l'hôtel est assez isolé. Il est à environ 4 kilomètres du centre de Phuket et éloigné de toutes les activités. Donc ce que vous sauvez en frais d'hôtel, vous allez le payez en frais de déplacements. Juste pour se rendre à l'aéroport, il faut compter entre 600 et 750 Bahts. Pour aller à au centre-ville de Phuket, c'est 250-300 Bahts.

Für mich hat alles gestimmt. Neues Hotel mit schönen, wenn auch nicht allzu grossen Zimmern. Schöner Pool mit einigen Liegen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war klasse! Die Mitarbeiter alle sehr freundlich. suchte ein Hotel in der Nähe des Piers.

The hotel is new, very clean and fulled equipped. There is a plenty of parking lot, big pool and green yard. The location is quite close to the old city. It is perfect for business and family trip.

Sehr gutes Stadthotel. Für einen Badeurlaub allerdings nur begrenzt geeignet, da der Strand relativ weit entfernt ist.

Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für Durchreise
Das Hotel liegt leider außerhalb von Phuket, also weit entfernt von Strand und Meer. Wer aber lediglich ein "Durchreise-Hotel" für ein zwei Nächte benötigt, ist hier genau richtig. Sehr stylisches und vor allem sauberes Hotel mit leckeren Essen und bemühten Angestellten. Die Kommunikation gestaltet sich zwecks schlechter Englischkenntnisse als sehr schwierig. Trotzdem ist das Pago Design Hotel sehr zu empfehlen.

Abbiamo prenotato per 3 adulti e ci hanno messo in una camera con un solo letto matrimoniale. Secondo loro era normale che potessimo dormire in 3 in un letto, non avendo fatto nessuna specifica richiesta per un letto aggiunto. Nella prenotazione era chiaramente scritto che eravamo 3 adulti. Dopo avere discusso non poco con la persona alla reception, hanno finalmente aggiunto un letto. Abbiamo fatto un viaggio itinerante cambiando vari hotel in Thailandia, sempre in 3, e pur non avendo mai esplicitamente specificato la necessità di letto aggiunto, questo è l'unico hotel in cui abbiamo avuto questo problema. Per fortuna si è trattato solo di una notte.

Hotel was just like the photos. It was clean and staff were helpful. Breakfast was ok and the pool was nice. There wasn't much close by and taxis were hard to get unless you book through hotel and pay top dollar for it. We had a few room service meals because there was nothing around and they were priced ok. If I was looking for accomadition near Phuket town I would stay at that hotel but I think it's very unlikely I would go back

An Absolute GEM in Phuket town!
Other than the super reasonable and affordable price (during christmas season 2013), what drawn us to book a week stay at The Pago Design Phuket Hotel is after we saw the pictures from the Expedia website. It just look really comfortable, modern, beautiful and guess what? It didn't disappoint us! When we arrived, the condition of the hotel is exactly how it's shown on the website, even better than we'd expected! Requested a nice view room and they put us in the corner unit facing the pool, the view and the breeze at night is just wonderful. We arrived at 9am in the morning and the staff let us checked in earlier at 10am, really sweet of them. Nice staff even though some of them might have a little bit language barrier but they can understand simple English. Breakfast selection is not huge but it's sufficient and delicious. We've ordered some of their local thai food on their menu and it tasted AMAZING. Reasonable price, if not cheaper than some of the restaurant outside the tourists area, it almost make us wanted to just stay in that hotel and not leave. Another thing that we really enjoy about this hotel is the quietness and serenity of this place, although it's not near any beach or walking distance to the city center. SO! the best thing (also the one thing that we regret didn't do) is to hire a motorbike or a car when you arrived at the airport. That will save you a great deal of money hailing a cab to get to everywhere. Taxi drivers in Phuket are like LEECHES!

Not Happy very disapointed
For our trip we decided to stay in cheap hotels, what's the difference you sleep there, keep your luggage there and your out all day till night. For New Years though we thought we would up our budget and get a nice room with pool access so we could jump straight into the water watch the fireworks and drink cocktails in the water. We arrived at 10am & check in was at 2pm so when they asked us to come back we were fine with that. We were unable to rent a scooter from them but got the bus to Phuket town to rent one. We ended arrived back around 3pm and went to get our keys but was told we needed to wait another 20 mins (starting to now get annoyed) we were then told to follow the bell boy to our room, we got to the lift and He told us to go to level 4??? Hold on I said we have a pool access room! I went back to reception and there was a man there complaining as he had booked a 35sqm room and got a 20sqm room so he had asked for a refund. The manger than came to me so I showed her my booking which clearly stated deluxe room (pool access) she than said to me sorry this doesn't mean you get access to the pool??? I wasn't sure what she thought pool access meant! Long storey short we got a refund, whole waiting another couple had the same problem as us! 3 people at once that's not good! We wasted 7 hours of our day and I lost my whole night on expedia looking for a new hotel for New Years!! It was the worst experience I have ever had with a hotel and we travel every year!

Nice cozy place, away from hustle bustle and noise
The stay was wonderful. The place is calm and quiet unlike most of the Phuket city hotels. Though the hotel is about 15-20 kms away from phuket town and we had to spend on taxis but i felt it was worth it. Stay at Pago if you dont mind spending at Taxis or planning to hire a bike for your personal ride.

Great value for money
Excellent service with quality breakfast. Highly reccomend the pool side room, straight own entrance to the pool. Don't let the location be a problem, taxi ride to Phuket downtown shouldn't be more than 300 baht. Besides it's only 45minutes walk. One small minus was no swimming in the hotel pool after 8pm.

hôtel très décevant surtout à ce prix (50 euros environ) : 30 minutes des plages en voiture contrairement à ce qui est marqué sur expedia 15 minutes de Phuket centre en voiture avec un taxi imposé par l'hotel (pas d'autre taxi aux environs et 2 fois plus cher que le prix normal) personnel antipathique nous avions réservé pour 2 nuits;nous avons préféré passé qu' une nuit quitte à perdre 50 euros car la gérante n' a pas voulu nous rembourser alors que nous l'avons prévenu la veille en début d’après midi A FUIR

Quiet place away from it all
This is a new hotel. Everything is spotless and well maintained. All staff are welcoming and will do their best to help you in any way they can. Pool is lovely and clean. Rooms are big and have a balcony. It was a bit far from the centre of Phuket for us but we liked it none the less. Because it is a new hotel taxis in town are unsure of its location so pick up a card at the front desk before you go out. They have a map on the back of them.
