“Small family hotel with a very helpful and nice host. We came very early in the morning and woke up our host. We were offered a room free of charge in addition to the 3 nights already booked. Served a good complimentary breakfast. A little difficult to find the hotel for the taxidriver. Very beautiful and interesting surroundings, but the town itself quite dull.”

“Nan House had the most lovely property that felt like a serene oasis. Beautiful pool which was fabulous for relaxing and cooling off at the end of the day. The surroundings were peaceful and we really appreciated the location outside of the busy town. It was easily walkable to town and there was a fantastic restaurant 5 min. away. We had delicious breakfasts with good variety and dinner one evening there was very good also. The staff were fun and friendly. They were so accommodating and helpful....

“Dzung and his wife Dep have made a lovely homestay. They are super sweet and accommodating. My room was large, comfortable and had an awesome view. They provide bikes to get around and Grabs are super easy to get. Dzung even arranged a private car transfer to and from Hanoi. I would absolutely stay here again!”

“Overall I'd like to say that this was the most amazing stay in any hotel I've been at. The friendliness and support from the owners (a family-run hotel) is nothing short of stellar, and beats all hotels I've stayed at by a mile (both in Vietnam and Sweden). Early check-in? No problem. Late checkout? No problem. Hungry? They cooked food for us. Dirty clothes? They cleaned our laundry. Worried about the sun? They borrowed us a sun umbrella. Need to go somewhere? They called a taxi and instructed...
