Great location
The best thing was the location, close to everything! The standard was OK but not more. Good service and breafast and the WiFi worked well. The room (410) was very small and the beds was very hard whilst the pillows were too soft. Also lack of AC plugs inthe room.

Good location and service oriented staff.
The room was good and was cleaned every day. The staff was kind and helpful. Breakfast buffet was good and there was plenty of food and bread and some fruits. I got a room on the 4th floor which was pretty quiet in the evenings as the room was facing the sea ie north position.

Hotell vistelse
Hotell som ligger med perfekt läge i stan. Rent och bekväm säng. Fin vy från rummet mot havet. Frukost mycket godkänd. Trevlig personal. Ja, med andra ord, hade lätt bott här igen.

En weekend i Reykjavik
Ett gammalt hotell. Om de hade valt att behålla den gamla charmen på rummen hade det vart en riktigt trevlig byggnad. Men nu var det en blandning av nytt och gammalt. Slitet men rent. Tyvärr fick vi ett rum ut mot gatan, där ligger en Irländsk pub. Vi kunde omöjligt sova före klockan 0330 på nätterna på grund av musik, gap och skrik hela natten. Puben stängde 0300, efter de sista gästerna gått vart det tyst. Personalen var mycket trevlig och hjälpsam.

Perfekt centralt läge. Nära till shoppinģ och till busshållplats för flygplatstransfer och guidade turer. Sköna sängar och kuddar. Normal standard på frukost.

Ljust att sova
Hotellet ligger väldigt bra och centralt. Dock fanns det inga mörkläggningsgardiner på rummen utan endast ett tunt skirt tyg och med tanke på att det är ljust dygnet runt på island på sommaren så blev det svårt att sova.

Man får vad man betalar för.
Detta hotell väljer man för dess läge då det ligger centralt och pga det låga priset, inte för att få hög standard. Frukosten bestod av torra hårda små frallor, yoghurt och tillbehör i princip. Städningen på rummet var under all kritik. Golven var smutsiga och dammiga och på golvet i badrummet låg det hårtussar. Vårt rum hade en badrumsdörr som blivit vattenskadad så faneren lossnade i nederkant av den. Sängarna var väldigt mjuka, nästan som hängmattor när man la sig i dem, och sängkläderna var slitna och noppriga. Kändes mer som ett b&b än ett hotell.

Små rum och inget insynsskydd på toan.
Centralt hotell nära huvudgatan i Reykjavik. Trångt rum, fick inte plats att ha 2 resväskor uppställda utan att min var ivägen. Fick gå över den varenda gång jag skulle på toaletten. Fanns inget insynsskydd när man var på toaletten, kändes inte så trevligt. Frukosten var bra, fanns bara kalla alternativ för de som gillar bacon, äggröra och korv fanns det inte. För en natt gick hotellet bra men skulle välja ett annat om jag åkte tillbaka.

The hotel was not as we had hoped. The first day we got stuck in the old elevator. The bed sheets were old and the beds really small. The lights in the sealing did not work. The drain in the shower was really bad, after a shower the bathroom was floating. We had stayed at a bed and breakfast near the airport for the first night which wa better than this 3-star hotel. However the neighbourhood was safe and quite. Close to the shoppingstreet and resturangt. easy to park around the area.

I chose this hotel because of its location and it didn't disappoint. The hotel is accessible from three bus stops and all museums and must-see destinations are within walking distance. The hotel staff was friendly and efficient and the hotel provides a humble breakfast each morning for guests from 7-10 am. My room was warm and cozy and located on the first floor, which I liked. It was quiet at night, no noisy neighbors and slamming doors. The only thing I had to get used to was the shower had no tub, just a drain, not even a platform so when you bathed, water got everyone on the floor, even with the shower curtain pulled around the area. I guess this is an Icelandic shower? I recommend Center Hotels Klopp to anyone looking for a place to stay when visiting beautiful, but freezing Iceland in the month of March.

The hotel is conveniently located in the city center, with almost everything Reykjavík has to offer in walkable distance. One block from the shopping district and lots of restaurants, two blocks from the bus stop, and a five to ten minute walk to Hallgrimskirkja or the harbor. Would definitely stay here the next time we visit Iceland!
