Genuint gammalt brittiskt värdshus i lite skamfilat skick. Trevlig personal och fint beläget i liten pittoresk by. Lite störande genomfartstrafik mutanför rummet

A lovely friendly welcome, friendly staff, clean & nice room, plenty of tea/coffee making facilities, fresh towels /toiletries supplied readily .Plenty of parking.Second entrance for when pub is not open. Nice pub to have a drink before bed.Would highly recommend staying here and I will re book in the future.

Clean and comfortable
We were met in the Inn and immediately taken care of and shown to our room which was very clean and comfortable - no complaints at all! The shower took some careful handling as it was tricky to get it working to the right temperature but when it got going it was great.

An overall very pleasant stay. Plenty of parking. The staff were all extremely helpful. The owners were friendly and happy to have a chat. A good breakfast was cooked fresh to order and the evening meal was good quality and value. The place is a bit tired, but decent for the price. Would stay again if in the area for business.

Great service and yummy breakfast! Disappointed the pub was closed when we returned at 21:15 on a Saturday evening. Room was a bit 'unloved', with wonky/loose shelves and some dusting required. Would stay again!

Great food and drink
Very friendly service and great food and drink in the pub. The Inn is right next to a busy road so the rooms are noisy, the rooms could do with some TLC, especially the bath and bath screen we had.

The Queen's Head Inn is tucked away in a suburb of Lincoln 20 minutes brisk walk from the City Centre. It's hard to fault anything about the property. The staff and locals were very friendly, the room was nice and although it wasn't en suite, the next door bathroom was big enough to play a game of football in. A excellent breakfast as well. The next time I'm staying in Lincoln I know exactly where I'll be going.

Comfortable stay
Stayed overnight on 11 June 2019. Room comfortable and staff helpful. Good beer and pub food. When my taxi didn’t turn up in the morning, the landlord very kindly drove me up to Audley End station to catch my train.

Comfortable pub/inn
Nice pub good beer choice and good food. Staff very friendly and helpful. The room was big enough with sink in the room and compact shower toilet room off the room. Shower was excellent as was the bed which was newish and very comfortable. Room is by road and only single glazing so if you are noise sensitive may not be for you. Traffic was minimal however and I had no trouble sleeping . Tea coffee amenities in the room, good wifi but no desk. Would stay there again

One day beds not made and another evening it was cold but they fixed it on request. But we got a great welcome and hospitality tray and they catered fully with my dairy free needs.

A cosy home from home stay
A good location a few minutes from Saffron Walden and M11. Homely and spacious accommodation. Lovely cooked breakfast. Evening meals available for a variety of taste. Large portions cooked to your requirements. Nothing is too much trouble. Guide dog welcomed and he also enjoyed his stay.

Nice food in the bar and a comfy bed, but overall the accommodation isn't up to standard, shelf hanging off the wall, rotten wood bathroom window covered in cobwebs, bath mixer cold was only a trickle so shower was scalding.Really can't recommend.

Nice place to stay for a weekend
The hotel is a good place to stay for a weekend in the Duxford area. It is a cosy and classic Inn which is lovingly operated by a very friendly crew. The integrated Pub offers a cosy atmosphere and great British kitchen. As well the breakfast is very good and is freshly cooked to order.

A nice little village pub where the car service was good and breakfast satisfactory. I did have a few issues with room 3. Firstly the windows did not protect from noise and traffic was really noisy. The toilet was a little unstable and the front base of shower could have been neater. My kettle switch was also defective and I had to balance a weight on switch to boil. On a positive note the bed was very comfortable and tv reception good although the screen was a bit small.

Friendly, family run Inn
The staff and owners are very attentive and friendly. The pub has a great atmosphere with friendly locals and a family buzz about the place. The double room we had was big enough, if a little tight with the large frame double bed in it but we only needed it to sleep in it so was good enough. The location is good for seeing local attractions but you are a couple of miles from Saffron so you'll need a car to get about.

I only mark them down on comfort as there was no aircon (understandable) and no fans (not understandable) on a stay when temperatures were in the 30s

Overnight stay, good character pub with a few improvements could be really good. The room was not available until 4pm but when we got in it was quite comfy. The room was away from the road but unfortunately had noise from smokers under the window. It is an old building so a bit of noise from upstairs. Bathroom was good except the shower would not stay up properly. Plenty of hot water. Ate in the pub for dinner and food quite good although breakfast is quite basic. plenty of off road parking.

OK B&B in a pleasant pub
The Queen's Head has a few rooms over the pub. The building is old and characterful but limits what they can do with the rooms. The facilities were a little basic but the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Beware if you are a light sleeper as there is a lot of road noise. Overall it was fine as a B&B but a little pricey at £85.

on arrival told we were not booked in I produced confirmation found me avery small room no chair tv not working toilet very small with clutter. no wardrobe or place to put clothes charged 90pounds a night for two nights this was the poorest hotel for value I have ever stayed at

I had a wonderful surprise, this place is a gem, near Saffron Ewalden but with easier access and parking! I will come again, it is recently done up with good decor and facilities. Nice staff and good value.

Old pub/hotel. Floor boards squeaked but what can one expect. Close to road noise. But the owners/managers and especially their boy (night time bar tender) were so great. Food was delicious. And the lad was the nicest and most polite fella I've ever met. Would stay again

Really tired rooms with single glazing on a main road, freezing cold rooms. No hot water in the morning. Menu on the evening had less than half the items available. Would not use again.

Everyone in the hotel was really friendly, including the locals in the pub, i had no problem sitting and chatting to anyone in the evenings as I was working away on my own.
