I did not realize this place was so close to the tenderloin, which made the area around the property a bit scary. But I tried to not let that affect my opinion, I wanted to give it a fair shot. The gentlemen that check us in was very sweet even sent a complimentary bottle of wine to our room. We ended up upgrading our room and it was nice and spacious. There was a restaurant and bar connected to the hotel so those made things very convenient and the people at the bar were so sweet and welcoming. It was easy to get around. Only thing that really upset me was on our check out day. My husband was not feeling well so I had some medication door dashed to the hotel and instructed them to leave it at the front desk. This is rated as 4 star hotel and for how much I had to pay just for an incidental fee, I would think that room service wouldn’t be too juicy to ask for. After all the gentlemen that checked us in let us know it was a perk of the hotel when we got there. I called down to the front desk to request someone bring it up to us, and the woman I got on the phone proceeded to tell me that she didn’t know if her bell person could do it or not. She checked and then told me it would be a 5 dollars delivery fee…. I paid almost 700 dollars for my room, which wasn’t the most spectacular room, but you can simply bring a brown paper bag to a guest room? Not only that her attitude was very frustrating and told me sorry we don’t do that but you can come down and grab it yourself.
