"We spent six days at Iberostar Selection Jardín del Sol Suites in mid-July. The entrance was welcoming with a personal touch. Our junior suite was tidy, but it hinted at the hotel's age. The modern "star prestige" section, prominently advertised, made the general pool area feel less impressive. The beachfront position was a highlight, with direct ocean dives from the docks being a treat on sweltering days. Breakfast was plentiful, though some dishes lacked flavor. Lunch items sometimes came from previous dinners, a nod to sustainability, but with varying freshness. Dinners, rich in themed dishes from different countries, were delightful. The pool was consistently clean with top-notch beverages served by amicable staff. We enjoyed a couples massage, though it could have been more intensive. In conclusion, the hotel, while efficiently managed, shows its years and might benefit from broad renovations."
