Good family hotel
It was best good. The room was a very comfortable size for a family and clean - a great value for the price and great location. The pool could have been cleaned more often but is a salt water and heated pool which is noteworthy. We would visit again. The buffet line at breakfast could be better organized so that omelette lovers and regular buffet traffic don’t overlap into chaos and confusion. The food was good.

El parqueo es demasiado caro pagamos 210 dólares de parqueo . El desayuno está muy bueno pero entre semana se acaba 9.30 am demasiado temprano las familias están de vacaciones mínimo hasta la 10 sería lo justo . La piscina es pequeña y tiene poco espacio y sillas .

All the amenities are on one floor. The restaurant and bar, the pool which is literally in the middle of the building and the fitness center. Great views of Sarasota bay and the sunset made our stay amazing!

Not sure if this is a property thing, but we had issues in the room such as the bathroom barn door not staying shut, and one set of outlets at the bedside table not working.

Property is poorly run and floors in room are filthy. Numerous hidden charges that aren’t discussed with you until you checkout…beware. Extremely overpriced.

The view was spectacular! Breakfast was excellent! Cleaning staff did a wonderful job. Couch in room was very uncomfortable and old. Beds where too high. Taxes are outrageous. Parking not included.

Very nice partial view of the bay and good breakfast, but that's where the positives end. Buidling and rooms have a very poor layout and functional design. Pathetic evening reception compared to other Embassy Suites properties. Poor service and lack of quality food at dinner. But the main reason for my rating are the multiple room maintenance problems (A/C, drains, outlets, lightening, loose bathroom handle and fixture). Hot room made it difficult to sleep, couldn't use bathroom sink, ankle deep water during shower. One problem, cut them slack. Multiple problems, no excuse. Will not stay here again and cannot recommend it to others.

Great potential but the property is looking tired and the housekeeping staff needs help. Dirty draperies and wallpaper in hallways and rooms, a lot of the furniture chipped and worn, all asking for freshening. Unfortunate since the location, bones and breakfast are strong points.

This hotel was conveniently located for a wedding dinner rehearsal and the actual wedding ceremony we attended. It’s kind of pricey, but the location is nice for what we needed. We didn’t have enough time to explore the area or take advantage of their complimentary drinks. I didn’t like where the TV was located - maybe if it had an extended arm so you can position it so that it’s in front of you instead of turning your head to the side. I have a picture, but i can’t post it.

Wow. Beautiful place. All the staff we had contact with were knowledgeable and helpful. Great location. Easy walk to downtown. Loved the complimentary happy hour and breakfast. Will definitely stay again when we are in the area next year
