Trip
Perfect spot! In town for a basketball tournament in St. Joseph. This place was perfect for our family, had everything we needed. Host was accommodating as we needed to extend our stay. Close to everything and town square is so cute. If ever in town again, would definitely stay again!

Host thought of everything!
Beautiful old building, easy walking to shops and restaurants. Lots of sleeping areas to choose from.. beds and bedding were wonderful. Plenty of room indoors for the grand-kids to run around and play. Excellent instructions for TVs, coffee bar was nice and well stocked (although I wish there had been a standard coffee pot to use instead of the Keurig), shampoos and soaps were supplied. Cold waters and snacks also available. Quiet upstairs neighbors and easy parking. Very positive experience, would stay here again!

Spacious
We had only a short stay, but with several people so this met out needs very well. The rooms were spacious and having multiple bathrooms was very accommodating. The communication and check in process was very simple. There was a great welcome basket which was greatly appreciated! It is an old historic building (which I loved) but it did also have a slight musty smell as old buildings often do. I think an air purifier would take care of this. I would definitely stay here again:)

Clean and spacious property
We were traveling with 4 adults and 2 teens and stayed at the property for a quick one night stay. It’s very spacious and worked perfectly for our needs! Everyone was able to hang out in the main area but still able to have separate areas for sleep. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area!

Short getaway
Great place for a weekend getaway. Good location for walking around with restaurants. We went to KC Chiefs training camp day and it was a good location from there. A little noisy with renters staying above, but all in all we would rent again. We enjoyed the Pizza Shoppe within easy walking distance and nice little patio off of the house. Really nice people and really good food.

Wonderful venue
This amazing historic venue exceeded our expectations. We would absolutely recommend anyone visiting Savannah or St Joseph to reserve this rental. We were in town for a funeral and the host was so accommodating with our needs. Love all the historic details the fact this building has found new life. Very well done.

Weekend Stay
I met my son and his family in Savannah for a family members wedding. Both of us driving 8+ hours and arriving at different times. This property was perfect! There was plenty of room for my 3-year-old granddaughter to run and play while we were there. The beds were comfy, and they place was so clean and felt very homey. I personally loved the historic nature of it. My son met the neighbors upstairs and they were very nice as well! The kitchen is a bit small, but perfect for a weekend stay. I would definitely recommend and will stay again when I am in the area! Greg is very accommodating and has really thought of everything you could need while staying at his property!

We loved this property and Savanna is a cute little town with a couple of fun places! The place was very comfortable and the teas, coffees, cocoa, and muffins and snacks were great! The owner is great to communicate and make sure everything is ok!! We will stay there again!!

Weekend visit for memorial service

Fantastic Property!
The property was amazing, and the owner was great. Due to my work, my dates changed twice, but the property owner was beyond amazing. He was very helpful and worked with me on the dates. If you're in the area, this is a must-stay.

This place is large! High ceilings, lots of room, lots of sleeping places. It was just the two of us and we each had our own bedroom with bathroom. Super clean, really nice people! I would stay there again!

What an amazing slice of history this property offers!
This beautiful, historical building has been fully restored and is ready to accommodate many different types of events and gatherings. Very cozy and had plenty of space for everyone to have their own area! Top Notch
Savannah is lucky to have this rental. It's spacious enough for a small gathering, has a great location, gracious host, and the cleaning was top notch. We appreciated the goodies. It's touches like this that made other just fine rentals I've stayed in seem less than. The historic building is really a gem and hope the owners keep what remaining orginal features are left and use proper preservation practices (like lime mortar on the brick instead of the slow death of portland) to keep this place the treasure it is.

Perfect for our trip
The property was lovely. We had lots of room to socialize and sleep. It was wonderful to have a full kitchen and a central location for us to gather. It was cheaper than a hotel and far exceeded our needs and expectations.

Amazing space
We loved the gorgeous space and how it fit our family of 7 with ease. Everything was comfy and we danced to ABBA singing along! The pizza joint was delicious. Walking the square was amazing after a 10 he car ride. My kids loved the snacks and tea. We would love the chance to stay again.

Our Stay at the Savannah Reporter
The Savannah Reporter venue is an asset to Savannah. Greg was awesome - easy to communicate with and accommodating. We originally booked it because we were visiting family. While there, my mother passed. Her service was in Savannah and the family was able to gather at the Reporter. There was plenty of space and again, Greg was very accommodating. His kindness was appreciated.

Great stay!
This place has so much space! It was perfect for hanging out with my teenage kids and nieces and nephew. It is right on the square, we walked to pick up pizza for dinner and donuts for breakfast. The place was very clean, the beds were comfy, the couch was comfy. Plenty of blankets, pillows, towels, etc. It is also very close (a couple blocks) from a lovely cemetery where I had hoped to walk around but it rained most of the day. Most impressive was the communication and flexibility of the owner. Greg was available to answer questions when they came up and he was very flexible with checkout and check in.

Great place to stay
It was very clean and a comfortable place to stay. The Manager was very helpful and available to help us at a moments notice. It was a very convenient location on a Lovely little town. The Laundromat right across the street. We hope to stay there again when we are ii the area.

Wedding Eve
I stayed here the night before my wedding with my girlfriends. We originally picked this place because it was so close to my wedding venue and had enough spots for my friends to sleep! I then quickly realized how awesome of a choice we made! The place was super cool!! It was very clean, the owner was super helpful, and we had a great time staying here! It was the perfect place to stay my last night as a Miss! I highly recommend!!!

So Spacious in Savannah
We loved our stay at this historic but remodeled ground floor apartment in Savannah. It is located just off the square so we could walk to where we needed to be. It was very clean and oh so comfortable. There were snacks and bottled water waiting for us when we arrived! The owner was so helpful and responsive. If you need a place to stay in the St. Joseph/Savannah area I would highly recommend this beautiful roomy oasis!!
