“I read some bad reviews about the guest house so went with an open mind. However the guest house was lovely, clean and warm with plenty of tea and good quality coffee. It's situation to public transport links was brilliant not that we had the chance to use it as we were only there for 1 night. We were there as attending a funeral, the owners let us use the car park all day which was invaluable on this occasion. I will definitely use this guest house in the future. “Really nice apartment in a great location to the square. Close by to the bars, cafes, restaurants and also not far from the Castle and main roads to get into Kelso. Check in was easy as the owner sent us details of how to get in and everything was very straight forward. Rooms were comfy, well decorated and it was a fantastic space overall. Genuinely felt really cosy and at home as soon as we entered, and it was especially great to have so much storage space including a walk in wardrobe. ...

“Vi bodde på Glen Hotel en natt på vår väg till Edinburgh. Ett mycket trevligt hotell med stora rena rum. Ägarna var mycket trevliga och hjälpsamma och de hjälpte till att arrangera en golfrunda för oss på närliggande Woll Golf Club. Restaurangen/baren var mysig och gav oss möjlighet att umgås med andra hotellgäster. Bra frukost.”

“Our room was not ensuite, but we had a bathroom of our own just a few stairs away. We were taken by surprise when we entered the bathroom. It was perfect, very tastefully decorated. There were even private bathrobes for us to use. Welcoming and friendly hosts! For breakfast we had a big choice. We had salmon with scrambled eggs which was delicious. We only stayed for one night but the place is definitely worth a longer stay.”

“Lovely room in clean house in centrally placed location. Just a couple of negatives. No ordinary breakfast tea in room just coffee or chamomile tea. Lovely shortbread though. No t.v. stations just bbc 1. Plus no breakfast. Wr asked numerous times about breakfast and were told to see Christine. But unfortunately Christine never appeared. Think we had paid for it aswell. It didnt spoil our stay just disappointing. ”
