A Perfect Place in a Perfect Place
We spent a perfect week in Sedona, in great part because of staying in Christopher's & Gary's perfect casita. Sure, the trip to the Grand Canyon, the red rock scenery, the off-road Jeep tour, and the great restaurants made the trip memorable; but coming home everyday to a real home-on-the-road made every day that much more special (& relaxing).

Perfection
What can I say… the hosts, the home, the location is are all just lovely. You have your privacy in a space where every detail has been well thought out but also your hosts are welcoming and helpful while being very respectful of your privacy and vacation. We so enjoyed our time and truly can’t recommend this home enough!

Very private
Nice casita nestled in a quiet yard. The bedroom is large with a comfortable king size bed. I gave overall rating as 4 because the interior furniture (living room) was very uncomfortable. The chairs are outdoor metal furniture with cushions. It wasn’t a big deal for us since we spent very little time inside but it wasn’t very inviting.

Charming Casita
We enjoyed our stay at this location in West Sedona and were able to combine remote work with daily jaunts for hiking, sightseeing and shopping. Private, quiet and amply supplied we loved opening the window wall french doors in the mornings and evenings to listen to the birdsong. Highly recommend.

Sedona wedding
We were in Sedona for our daughter’s wedding and chose the Casita because it was close to all our family members who were also staying at local VRBO properties. It was also within walking distance to some trails which was great. Super close to the grocery stores and many of the sites we wanted to visit. We weren’t able to meet the hosts because they were traveling but their neighbor was available to us and immediately answered any questions that we had. She was wonderful. The house is beautiful. Just the right size for me and my husband. It’s in a beautiful neighborhood. We like to make our own meals and the kitchen had everything we needed. We loved sitting up on the deck at the end of the day. The view was gorgeous. We would highly recommend this place. If we’re ever back in Sedona we would come back to the Casita.

Close to everything
We stayed in AZ for 7 nights and had a great time. The casita is right in West Sedona - we never had far to drive to get anywhere. Location and view from observation deck were great! We cooked several meals and had everything we needed. The main house runs parallel to the casita so it’s not as private as we first thought. We were out exploring a lot so that wasn’t a problem for us. Christopher and Gary are super nice and make fantastic Twix bars! Great time all around!

Wonderful Casita in the Heart of Sedona
What a wonderful place to stay. Great location. Close to everything that Sedona offers. We especially enjoyed the beautiful patio. Coffee in the mornings. A glass of wine at night. You felt secluded, even though it was in the middle of the property. The casita is very clean, comfortable, spacious, quiet and well equipped. Christopher and Gary were perfect hosts. Very responsive but not intrusive. When we return to Sedona, we will plan our trip around the availability of this property.

Beautiful Casita in the Heart of Sedona
Perfect in every way! I’m a solo traveler and wanted a cozy and safe place to stay. This was it! The casita was absolutely beautiful, well furnished and comfortable. My favorite was the private patio! The hosts were lovely. They greeted me upon my arrival and immediately made me feel welcome. The location is great … lots of grocery stores and nice restaurants and centrally located to all the main sites. I will definitely book this property again when I return to Sedona!

Highly Recommend the Casita Sedona
Christopher's home was perfect for our 1-week getaway to Sedona. Adventure and luxury.
The Casita was the perfect place to be in every way. From the gorgeous well maintained property, obvious attention to detail inside and out and walking distance to trailhead that gives you access to so many of the iconic Sedona hikes. The kitchen was well appointed and though it lacks an oven the in counter range top, high end microwave, outdoor gas grill and toaster oven are more than enough. We enjoyed eating in every night and soaking up the privacy and quiet that the property provides. Loved the nice selection of wine glasses 🙂 The pool was quite dreamy after long days of hiking! Also such a bonus to have laundry access. Rooftop views certainly deserve a five star mention as well! Communication was as five star as the accommodations and we had answers quickly to any questions that arose. We absolutely can't wait to get back again soon!!

Fabulous pool!
We loved the location, the accomodations, the beautiful landscaping, but most of all we loved the amazing pool. The property is perfect for a relaxing getaway. My husband and I stayed here to visit his parents in Sedona. It was perfect for the two us. Our trip was wonderful.

My husband and I had a wonderful 10 days in Sedona staying at the lovely casita. Woke to birdsong every morning and spent our days hiking the amazing trails of Sedona. Casita is in a great neighborhood close to everything we needed and away from the crowds. Christopher and Gary are generous and gracious hosts. Loved it! Hope to return.

lovely casita - lovely hosts
The casita is in a quiet neighborhood, within walking distance to many hiking trails, which is a big plus since we were also here over Memorial weekend during our 10-day stay. Thanks to Christopher and Gary's good tips, we were able to plan our hikes to avoid the traffic jams on 179. Chimney Rock and Seven Sacred Pool can easily be done from the casita. A big thanks to Christopher and Gary for all the good advice. The casita really has everything you need. A well equipped kitchen with everything you need. Super was the use of the pool. Thanks to the trees, the sitting area from the living room was perfect for a drink after a hike. Also great was the deck on the garage where you could look at the starry sky. We would definitely recommend this beautiful casita and if we come back to the area then we will definitely come back.

Perfect!
The casita was perfect for our spring getaway. It is spacious, beautifully decorated and had everything we could possibly need. Christopher and Gary were wonderful hosts and provided a nice list of favorite restaurants and shorter hikes that would interest us. We especially enjoyed the relaxing outdoor sitting area. Amazing casita in a stunning setting!
Looking at all the previous reviews I would only be re-iterating the obvious. The casita is in a quiet neighborhood, walking distance to many trails, which is a big plus since other red rock trailheads are usually full. Christopher and Gary provide a wealth of resources about the area in general - along with the program for upcoming independent movies at a theater 5 minutes away. With it’s adobe walls and natural flagstone floors, combined with comfortable furnishings and amenities, it was perfect for our two week stay. The icing on the cake was the amazing hospitality extended by Christopher and Gary. Their warm and witty charm will always be remembered with a smile. 😊

Lovely!
This casita is lovelier than the pictures can depict. Chris and Diane were a joy when it came to communications - very attentive and helpful. We happened to be there during a rainy week and we were quite comfortable staying in at times and catching up on business without any issues with the wi-fi connections when using our computers and cells. We would certainly recommend this lovely casita and would happily stay again.

Sedona Stay
Everything about our Sedona Stay at Christopher’s Casita was great. It’s was beautifully furnished, so quiet, very private, well equipped, comfortable, and clean. The neighborhood hike to Sugarloaf was the perfect beginning of our visit. Christopher was a wealth of information about where to hike, explore and eat. My husband who had never been to Sedona can’t wait to go back and stay at The Casita. Maybe it was the cookies!

Cozy Casita!

Fabulous Casita
My husband, our dog and I stayed at this lovely Casita for 5 days in December. It is perfect for two, the bedroom is large with a nice dresser and closet, the bed was very comfy, the bathroom is large with lots of hot water, and the kitchen was just perfect for our needs. We did not have the best weather during our stay so we did not spend time hanging out in the patio area, but we could see it being a great place for a nice morning coffee or afternoon reading session in nicer weather. And the yard access was great for our dog. While sitting on the patio was not an option due to rain and cold temps, we did enjoy watching the bird life through the big windows/doors in the living room area. The Casita is located across a small patio from the main house, but in the Casita, it feels very private (you don't hear or see the big house). The location of the home is great. Nice hiking trails just down the street (e.g. trail to Coffee Pot Rock) and lots of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. There is even an independent film theater close by. The hosts (who live in the main house) were very responsive, welcoming, and helpful. I had mentioned it was my birthday during our stay and they were thoughtful and did something very nice for us in celebration. Their hospitality made our stay feel very special and memorable. We hope to visit again and in the meantime, we highly recommend this rental!

Christopher and Gary are very welcoming hosts, easy to like and are most helpful, both have spontaneous senses of humor. The house is well planned with many features and has beautifully landscaped paths around it. We both slept incredibly well in the comfortable bed. Late morning in November it was lovely to have breakfast or coffee on the patio in the sun. All of Sedona is convenient from this location. We were lucky to have found this property and would love to return.

Truly Spectacular
Wonderfully executed design, perfect in every detail. The property is even more beautiful in person. Christopher and Gary are warm and friendly hosts; the kind of people you feel like you already know as friends. It’s difficult to add to all the excellent reviews except to confirm that they are absolutely accurate. Diana was great getting us settled when we arrived and showing us the ropes. Morning coffee at first light on the roof deck taking in the breathtaking scenery, afternoon swims in the beautifully landscaped pool area are second to none (the water is perfect too), minutes from everything and yet very private and quiet at the same time. When we scheduled earlier in the year we didn’t know it would turn into an elopement but we couldn’t have chosen a more wonderful place to start a new chapter in our lives. Sincere thanks to Christopher and Gary for sharing such a beautiful home.

This is one of the nicest homes we have ever rented. Exactly as shown in the pictures..arguably even nicer in person. Beautifully decorated. Has everything travellers will need. Even a washer/dryer. Hosts are super responsive and very pleasant. Highly recommend.

Amazing vacation spot!
My husband and I decided to go to Sedona for our 25th wedding anniversary and we found this VRBO listing and wow it is everything we could have hoped for and more. The owners provided instructions that we were able to follow easily from checking in, to what to do in the area. They also provided trail guide books, maps and a list of favorite restaurants. The casita is perfect and exactly as described. The pool was our favorite afternoon indulgence after our morning hikes. The neighbor was our host as the owners were away and she was amazing. I feel like we made a friend during our stay. We will definitely be back and staying here! Thanks Christopher and Gary for helping us have the best anniversary trip!

Beautiful casita separated from the owners home. We had excellent privacy. The owners were outgoing but respectful. The house had a wonderful kitchen and bedroom. The bed was one of the best we have slept on. Beautiful back porch area where we could read and sit with a glass of wine. The house was clean and well cared for. We will be back!!

We had a awesome stay at this place. Christopher and Gary were truly terrific hosts. Christopher was very friendly before and during our trip with answering questions (would respond quickly) and when he greeted us when we got there (we actually got “lost” finding the entrance). The casita was beautiful and had everything we needed. Bed was so comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, and was nicely decorated. The property was well landscaped. The views were gorgeous, especially upstairs in the outdoor patio. Pool was great to relax in. Overall a wonderful place, wonderful hosts, wonderful everything. Definitely if in area again, would rent in a heartbeat.

A Respite Within The Red Rocks of Sedona
This was our first time visiting Sedona with its majestic display of red rock architectural gems! Fortunately, within this extraordinary location, we reserved this gem of a property, this "casita", for our week's stay. Communication with our hosts, Christopher and Gary, was both informative and efficient. They were proactive with casita access information which eased our arrival considerably after a long day of travel. And it truly is a "casita", a little separate house of your own, in a very quiet neighborhood, conveniently located near grocery stores and all that Sedona proudly offers. Three special bonuses to the casita are: access to the pool, access to sunrises and sunsets from the rooftop and access to a washer/dryer. The kitchen is well-equipped for 'cooking in', the private patio is the best location for a quiet breakfast or a glass of wine and the residence is gated with driveway parking. Both Christopher and Gary were welcoming, warm and proud hosts and always available by text/email for questions or recommendations . If you choose this property, you, too, can snuggle into the comfort of this delightful casita amidst the gems of Sedona! VM/PF

Beautiful casita in Perfect Location
We loved our stay in the beautiful casita. It was so convenient to hiking trails, grocery stores, and restaurants. The pool was a lovely treat after a day of hiking. I would definitely stay here again on our next visit. The only inconveniences that we encountered were the automatic light outside the bedroom window that kept going on and off and the lounge chairs by the pool were no where to be found. But all in all an excellent place to stay. The hosts thought of everything and we really appreciated the cold drinks in the refrigerator upon arrival.

Hi Sharon, Glad you enjoyed your stay. Thanks for the heads up on the lights outside the bedroom. They are motion activated but you are the first guests to mention them going on. I will add info to guest guidelines on how to turn them off should there be a need. The pool chairs were located and set out. Again, thank you for your feedback. I am all about making good better.
