“The location is very nice. Close to the attractions, the hiking path. The staff is very friend and helpful. The apartment is clean and prepared with care. I found bottles with oil, salt, eg. For a few day's stay, this small things may help a lot. Gives the feeling that the host wants to make our stay easy and comfortable. Thanks. ”

“We enjoyed Sintra and it was really nice to take the train from Lisbon and walk a short hill to this location. We saw lots of sights over our 2 day stay and felt that was more relaxing to stay over than single day trip. Montserrate was our favorite. Beautiful walk and lush gardens and less touristy. My only heads up to fellow travelers is that the street can be noisy (the train was completely fine — it’s pretty quiet). Between the street noises of people and cars, I had a hard time sleeping...

“The apartment was great. Elisabete was so welcoming and it was decorated beautifully to feel like a home. Parking was available but generally needed to use the nearby lot which was not far but when carrying luggage it was helpful to know that. We could easily visit several things we wanted to do including the electric tram and visit to the beach resort and the art museum. Elisabete was always quick to respond to my questions.”

“Casa Pendoa is a beautiful place and we appreciated the option to store our luggage the day of our check out so we could continue our exploration of Sintra. This is a very clean apartment with lots of natural light and a close walk to the National Palace and lots of shops and restaurants. We did however experience no hot water which was a disappointment.”

“This is the place where you can reset your body and your mind. I stayed 4 nights and i did enjoy the beautiful garden and the walking in the sierra. The house is a perfect starting point for trecking and cycling.The beachs are 5 min drive from the house or 15 min cycling ( be ready for uphill). I ll be back soon .”

“Appartement situé premier étage sur rue assez achalandée, près de nombreux restos et bonne distance de marche (en pente) des sites touristiques (châteaux) et de la gare. Il est toutefois très facile de prendre Taxi, Tuk Tuk… pour se déplacer. Plus difficile avec une voiture car les places de stationnement sont très limités. Photos bien représentatives du logement, propre et bien équipé. Nous y sommes malheureusement restés que deux nuit. Je recommande!!”

“We stayed in 5 rentals in our 3 month stay and this was the best. There was lots of room for 5 of us, everything was sparkling clean and there were nice matching dishes. The bathrooms were a dream. We loved the little gifts left for us. We loved Sintra and the location of the condo was close to the activities and only 1 block from the train station. We used the restaurant and bakery recommendations and loved them. We would definitely return. The only negative was needing to unplug the coffee pot...

“Casa Pendôa was great. The check-in process was easy, and we were able to leave our bags in a secure locker prior to check-in. The apartment itself is in a great location close to the town square. The apartment was clean, the rooms were nice and as pictured, and there is also a shared washer and dryer available for use on-site, which was perfect since Sintra was towards the tail end of our trip in Portugal and my family and I needed to do some laundry.
