We were there on the weekend and it was loud and even rowdy. Barking dogs in an adjoining room and salsa music until 4 AM. The facility is acceptable, but the clientele is blue collar to the bone. I very much recommend the Black Canyon Motel in Grace over JR's. It was full when we came to the area this year so I just learned to make reservations earlier.

Carpet dirty and stained, silverfish roaches on bathroom walls and running across bedspread. Bought roach spray at local store n sprayed room, luggage, n baseboards. Reported to owner at motel.

Checkin was quick and trouble free. We had a minor hick up with the window ac… it was leaking into the room. I advised staff and they came and fixed it right away. Room was clean. Parking lot was getting repaved so it’s a bit muddy but staff offered to let me park my motorcycle by the front which was great. (I am sure when anyone is reading this the parking lot would be done by then). Overall it’s a nice budget motel.

smells musky and excruciating hot!! the air conditioner did not work but for maybe an hour after they came and serviced it but then quit working again so the room was 95 degrees the whole time & cold water did not work in room

Ok place for the night.
Older Motel, we got last room. We LOVED the shower and nearby ice machine. Room was old but ok for the night. Enjoyed the Magpies on the property.

Never again!
Four yapping dogs in next room, toilet - slow partial flush, stains in toilet and under sink, sink faucet broke, TV on wall mount stuck out into walking path - we got hurt.

Air conditioner was very noisy. Turned it off and opened a window. The TV didn’t work. The soap they provided was 1/8” thick and didn’t do much good. No shampoo provided.

The people were all friendly, room was clean, everything worked, and they let us get there a little early with no problem. Dog friendly and reasonably priced.
