“Meredith and Chris are amazing and very hospitable hosts. The cottage was the perfect location to rest, relax and unwind from busy everyday life. Very spoilt receiving home made brownies, jam and sourdough bread. Appreciated all those extra things like butter curls, freshly baked goods, fridge and pantry items and firewood. We felt very relaxed and welcome at little bird cottage.”

“Boys and myself had a fantastic stay. Pool was a big hit too. Cottage is in an awesome location to surfers and all the theme parks, hinterland etc and is all it says and lots more 😁 The hosts are friendly and very accomodating. Great family value.”

“The hosts were absolutely amazing and accommodating at individual needs to stay. The hosts were warm and welcoming and the chickens were great to have a chat to. The accommodation itself was warm, clean and had an amazing view. The attention to detail within the cottage didn’t go unnoticed, even the abundance of treats in the fridge. A must for a weekend of luxury and peace.”

“Overall its a pretty good place, and with the animals and creek swimming hole, it really was a wonderful stay for my 10yr old grandson. But there were just a few things that may be need a re-think by the owners: 1. The main bedroom was extremely hot and it wasn't even hot weather - mid 20s. The fan in the room made no difference, and the A/C in the lounge had no impact. 2. There is a front and rear entrance to the house. The front entrance is not covered, so anything left on the verandah is not...

“We stayed in the bowerbird cabin and it was magical. We’d go back in a heartbeat. The area was serene and there was wrap around windows, seeing the trees, hearing the birds and the rain drizzling the entire time felt like we were in another world. The ambiance of the warm lighting and little electrical imitation fire place was cosy and we spent many quiet moments snuggled together under a blanket on the couch in front of it. The cabin was a perfect base for our hiking trips. Exploring the land...

“The Cottage is quaint however, somewhat dated decor and furniture. No coffee machine as listed. Unfortunately, the road noise is audible inside the cottage. Otherwise, close to The Gallery Walk, other coffee shops and shopping. ”
