“Located in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to the train and walking distance from the botanical garden, biodome, and planetarium among other parks. Instructions to get into the building and room were clear and the place was clean and well maintained. We rented parking in a neighbor’s driveway around the corner as the property suggested, which was convenient and inexpensive. My only note is that the front door of the building didn’t consistently close/ lock properly.”

“Charming old stone storybook house, sweet and friendly proprietors. It has the feel of a youth hostel, with a little outside garden, piano, shared bath and kitchen access. You get to old town via a walk and metro ride, and it's just fine if you are not in a rush. The vieux neigborhood surrounding the 'refuge' is interesting and there's a walking path nearby where you can see all the people who live here walking their dogs and so on....delightful!”

“We left immediately. 1) the owner would not let us see the room unless we registered. This is when we found out that: 2) our "Executive Room" did not have a bathroom: the bathroom is shared (the room description included "bathroom or shower", not mentioning it was shared). 3) the main floor is a complete mess; there is no place to sit for all the junk piled up everywhere. This is blatantly false advertising. There is no parking, the bathrooms are shared, the photos shown are taken in a way...

“The property was fine, but whoever occupied before us left it a little messy. The freezer was left with something and bottom is messy so we did not use the freezer. The coffee maker was dirty with used filter in it. The basement bedroom the sheets looks it was not changed and no towels, one bedroom upstairs has only one towel.”

“The property is beautiful, comfortable, and easy to get settled into. The host was not there when we stayed, so we had the place to ourselves, but spent most of the time out in the city rather than at the VRBO. Do keep in mind that the closest metro terminal is 2 miles away; we got by with ubering to terminal then metroing into the city with the cheap unlimited weekend tickets.”

“This apartment does not disappoint. Nadia must spend a lot of time to make her place this clean - everything was just perfect. The apartment was well appointed and all of our needs were met. We highly recommend this property and look forward to visiting again when we return to Canada.”
