Pensionat i Southampton

“It is a lovely place, the staff is amazing. Very friendly and service minded. The breakfast was delicious! But, the room is very cold, only kne radiator for multiple rooms, old windows letting in all the cold. Worst was that there were no heating or power outlets in the bathroom. Super cold! And a very big spider lived there... I ate dinner one evening at the mansion, it was not worth the money. Minute steak and some fries for 20 pounds. Took 5 seconds to eat. No taste. ”

“Self service so expected some instructions - couldnt get tv to work. Coffee, tea n sugar provided - no milk. Kettle supplied on shelf - no plug nearby. Low light - difficult to read. However good location, warn and clean - also cheap. :)”

“I was, of course, disappointed not to have en suite facilities but I booked late and knew the situation. My room was small but exceptionally well equipped and comfortable. The staff could not have been more accommodating and made me feel very comfortable.”

“What a lovely little place for our overnight stay prior to our cruise ! Absolutely spotlessly clean and John the host couldn’t do enough for us. Very convenient for the train station and town centre. Our breakfast was perfect with lovely high quality fresh ingredients made to order with lots of choice. We cannot fault this place and highly recommend ! Thank You we will be back ”

“The listing never said the landlord would be living on the property which we found out when we arrived. The fridge was part full with her goods so we didn’t have as much space for our own food. The whole place had terrible cleanliness, the floors were sticky and one bathrooms shower door was broken. “We have now seen the future of hotels. The room2 concept is brilliant. A room with a basic self-service kitchen was precisely what we needed when we ended up staying for longer than we had planned. If the loft bed had come with a proper mattress and in full length, it would have been perfect.”
