“Free laundry facilities was a huge plus! Didn't like that I was unable to lock the door from the inside but the room was really spacious and comfortable. Bathroom was also great! Didn't really interact with the staff much as the desk isn't manned for long. Parking was good and plentiful too.”

“A little of attention to detail to make this cottage feel like it still belongs to the 19th century, but full of luxurious like a big spa bath, coffee machine, hidden away tv, super luxurious bed and bedding, reasonably priced drinks in the fridge, and a beautiful spots out front and to the rear to enjoy the beautiful gardens and the quiet surroundings. We'd definitely stay here again! ”

“This Kingston home is in a quiet neighborhood located a throws distance from Hobart. Home was immaculate and very comfortable. We were a grp of 4 friends in 40’s - 60’s. This was our 5th home in 2.5 weeks. By far the most comfortable. Big points for the dryer as we noticed most homes provided the washer but not the dryer. “The host was very welcoming and explained everything to us as we were guided to our accomodation. What a lovely surprise, a deck to view the rolling hills and river from, step inside this 1840 exquisite building and first thing that greets you is a cask of port with enough in it for 6 tipples sitting on that lovely deck (which also has a bbq btw). The bed was amazingly comfortable and the area is very peaceful. The host also suppies the many books he has written and published and he has copies...

“Great spot at the door step to Mt Feild. Very few places this close to Tasmanian wilderness at your front door with all the comforts of home. Excellent cafe called Fika nearby at Maydena. Worth the short drive for morning or afternoon tea or a great lunch. Highly recommend.”
