I was only there for one night so only had chance to sample the menu once but the chicken tagine was very good. Rooms clean and smell very note, comfortable bed. Very peaceful at night for a good sleep. Pool clean but due to my short time there was unable to use it. ”

Good heating by air condtioner. Excellent hot water. Don't think I saw promised bottled water in the room. Generally a very pleasant place I would definitely stay again at.”

“Firstly this is not a Hotel providing normal tourist facilities,which may be a surprise to those who book online.It is a private Casbah building which has been beautifully restored over 6 years and is still not complete.It feels like a palace.A handful of simple but attractive rooms are available for rental.There is no hot water or heating,though the latter is not a problem due to the original thick mud walls(painted)providing insulation. “Very unique little hotel in the gorge. Staff was friendly and worked very hard. Dinner was very good, as was breakfast. Nearby hiking trail. Stunning views. Very reasonably priced. Heat was NOT included but could be purchased for $9us. Older hotel so don’t expect shiny fixtures and fancy extras. Very authentic.”
