“Hotel is modest but overall very good check was fine and breakfast ok only thing I found an issue was the front door was locked which may sound fine but if you didn’t have you key it might be a problem. You were suppose to lock it especially at night and you had to rely on others to do so which was often not the case. There was not often a person at the desk no other issues and still worth the stay ”

“We had an amazing time at Giuggiulena! Even before we came we noticed how much the staff wanted our stay to be amazing when they helped us with arranging transfer from the airport and meeting us late at night since we had a late flight. The rooms are big and well maintained, the views from the balcony is amazing!! The breakfast left nothing to be wanted and the warm greetings every morning from the staff bringing us the best morning coffe everyday! The owners really made us feel at home helping...

“The hotel texted us the day we were arriving and told us they made arrangements for us to check into a different hotel. No explanation or apology. The other hotel was not on the beautiful island of Ortigia, but by the train station (not a great area). We were very disappointed. It was also hard to find a contact number for hotels.com to help with the situation. The hotel we sayed at was ok, but not quite the magical vacation we were expecting.”

“Wonderful hosts, very friendly and welcoming and made our stay very comfortable. Beautiful rooftop terrace to spend some time outside but out of the strong sun. Kids loved the bunk beds! Easy walking distance to cafes/bakery/restaurants etc and close to Ortigia. Filter water on tap and fridge in room was very handy. Grateful for the facilitation for early check in.
