“It took me a while to rationally review this location since my dog died while I was there. His death had nothing to do with the property but it did skew my opinion of it for a while. It is a lovely location with a river right next to it and nothing but woods around. I'd definitely advise staying there and swimming in the river during spring/summer. Locations is just outside the west entrance of the park (less than 10 minute drive). There is a store onsite with basic items and a larger store/gas station/cafe right down the road.
