“We've been to this property many times however there were a few snags with this trip. We asked if a playpen was available via email and phone call. We were told we would be called the day before to be informed if we could have one - they never communicated with us. Our cottage (43) also had terrible water pressure. “Vesuvius is a pretty spot with some charming older cottages. On our neighbourhood walk we found a lovely trail to the beach, some sheep, stands of granola, flowers and friendly locals. It's not far to other amenities - we hiked Mt Erskine and loved the bakery 'Francis Bread'. We loved eating our meals on the patio at the condo. Thanks!”

“Nice private cottage in a great location. Had all the amenities required and we loved the hot tub. As mentioned before in some of other reviews it’s needs a deep clean, windows, curtains washed etc to make it shine. Garden around house need to be tidied up and trimmed up a bit to make it feel more loved.”

“In a lovely new neighborhood up in maple bay, we really enjoyed our little place while we attended a dance competition at the cowichan theater. Laundry, full kitchen, & a really nice fresh bread dropped off by the lovely hosts. I just wouldn’t ever want a hotel after this. Hosts were quick with responses to my questions. Grateful :)”
