“The room was very basic, but met all my needs---it was small, but clean and quiet--I had a mini refrigerator and Keurig, so I had everything I needed. The bed was comfy and my (limited) interactions with the staff were kind and considerate. I will definitely be staying there again. ”

Some steep turns and roads to get to the house but once we got there, we really enjoyed the screened in porch and the space in general. Carole was quick to respond to the one question we had and the checkout process was simple with clear instructions. Thanks for the hospitality!”

“We had a small window of opportunity for a trip to Highlands, NC. I found The Zen Den on VRBO and the description met what we needed. The owner gave perfect directions on how to get to our location (the gps would have never got us there) and had turned the heat on before our arrival. The place was very clean and comfortable. The cooking situation was very limited but for our short stay it was fine. For two people and a short stay the Zen Den was perfect!”

The suite is located in the peaceful and quiet Mirror Lake area, just a short walk from the town of Highlands. The suite was spacious and beautifully appointed, with a comfortable bed, plush towels, and a fully equipped kitchenette.”
