“I just wanted a place to sleep. So i wasn't expecting "fancy", but for the price of the rooms, they need to be clean and dust free, with no broken walls. I forgot to take a picture, but the patch job they did to cover the hole from the bathroom door knob still had the visible crack line. We were so excited to be able to view the eclipse from the property, which meant that we didn't have to deal with traffic getting home or to other lodging. Sherry was a great host. “Host had the cabin very clean. New leather couch & recliner. Mattress was extremely comfortable. Washer & Dryer were excellent. Another Rental house near, long-term renters were very quiet. Internet not very good in the Illinois woods. Closed cabin has a musty smell from humidity in the woods. Host had an automatic air freshener going to help with air quality.”
