“The pensiune is a rural retreat - great location for the wooden churches of Maramureş. It does require a car due to the rural location. The food (4 course suppers and breakfast) were excellent Romanian home-cooking. And the welcome was warm despite a language barrier (my limited Romanian and the owner’s limited English). I would happily stay there again!”

“Bien en général hormis le fait que nous n avions pas de draps pour le lit canapé. Heureusement il y en avait dans le hall d entrée sinon ça aurait été compliqué de dormir directement sans draps ni housse de couette ni taies d oreiller. Sèche cheveux hors service.”

“Great location overlooking the old town square. Very helpful staff allowed early arrival and an early weekend breakfast before our tour. Room 3 was a little noisy, less from the street than from the window to the courtyard with other rooms close by. We never had hot water for the shower, it only became warm after several minutes.”
