“ Myself and 2 cousins stayed here for one night when we went to San Juan Island. Our room was on the second floor and had 2 queen beds. The mattresses were comfortable but the sheets were a bit stiff and scratchy. The room and all the common areas were very clean. The bathroom was very small, just enough room for the toilet and shower, with the sink actually in the room. (I’ve never understood this arrangement. It’s inconvenient in my opinion.) There were lots of Knick knacks in the lobby area...

“I have done reviews for hotels before and the final numerical result comes out different from what I would actually give the hotel. I would rate this place between 7 to 7.5. The location is great. “The furnishing are a bit worn out but everything was CLEAN and thats the most important thing. The room was really big and beds were comfy. One bed had a traditional mattress and the second a foam style. The motel was quiet and the location was perfect for a longer stay in Anacortes or if jumping on a ferry in the morning. “Lopez Island is about as laid back as you can get and this place fits right in. Management is very laid back. Check in process is the key being left on the desk by the front door.
