Bra hotell lokalt i Vancouver.
Bra hotell mycket centralt i Vancouver downtown. Gammalt charmigt hus. Kanske kunde vart varmare på rummen men det gick att justera. Vänlig och hjälpsam personal.

Dåligt skick på badrum, osköna sängar.
Förstår inte hur detta hotell kan ha så höga betyg. Vet inte om det kanske bara var mitt rum som var under förväntan, men dåligt skick på badrummet och stenhård säng. Mycket trevlig personal i receptionen, dock.

Utmärkt placerat och relativt dyrt hotell
Centralt placerat. Relativt dyrt. Mitt rum var direkt vid hissen vilket störde en del. Kylskåp och kaffe-/tebryggare där kapslarna fylldes på varje dag (2x3 olika). Två kaffemuggar och en tesked. Jag måste köpa en kniv för att skära upp bröd med.

Bra hotell med bra läge
Det var ett bra hotell med bra läge. Vi bodde tre män i ett dubbelrum med två twinbeds, så för mig och min man blev det lite trångt, men det hade vi räknat med. Vi trivdes på hotellet, men det var lite lyhört från utsidan, men det löste vi med öronproppar.

Bra läge i centrala Vancouver
Vi bokade en svit på hotellet. Det var större till ytan men utöver det ingen extra lyx. Upplevelse rummet som fräscht och rymligt. Hotellet är dock gammalt så rummen är lyhörda vilket gör att man kunde uppfatta andra hotellgäster genom golv och tak. Inget vi störde oss nämnvärt på men det är väl så med gamla hus. Hjälpsam personal och bra läge i centrala Vancouver.

Accessible to a lot of restaurants. My last night was so noisy from guests next door and beneath our room. Maybe they need floor and wall insulation to filter noise.

The staff were very supportive and I had a very pleasant 5 day stay there. It was close to anything, from groceries to Starbucks and many restaurants and clothes shopping stores. Highly recommended!

Hotel Hell. As soon as we walked through the front doors, my friend and I gave each other “the look”. We could instantly tell that The Moda had seen better days. The room that we stayed in was old and not well kept. You know it’s not the greatness when your first reaction to the room is laughter. The mattresses were probably older than I was. You could feel the springs pushing into you. The TV screen is as small as a laptop screen. For us, the bathroom was the breaking point. The tub floor was grey like a stormy sky and scratched to oblivion. We did not even want to step into it. Our total stay at The Moda lasted about 30-45 mins. We were able to get a partial refund. The staff members were kind, helpful, and very understanding. The location of The Moda is amazing, however that is one of its’ only redeeming qualities along with their staff. It is in a very walkable area so do yourself a favour and find another hotel within walking distance.

It was convenient to have a bar underneath, liquor store underneath. It was a 10-15 minute walk to BC place! Big king size bed for lots of sex!

There was a bug in our room. Floors didn’t appear clean and something on the bedding that looked like marinara sauce.

Our hearts sank when we saw our room, if we had not prepaid we would have just walked away and found another place to stay. Although it photographed well, it was finished poorly and dank. There was a stain on the carpet, dirt on the bathroom floor, the bathroom window pane was broken, the heating did not work. At night it was noisy; the walls and doors were not sound proof by any means. If this location is important to you, it’s fine to stay if you are just looking for a bed to sleep in. In my opinion this would not be a 3 star hotel, it feels more like a hostel with private bathroom.

Place was clean and easy access to major attraction in Vancouver downtown..! Customer shouldn’t be charged $18 per day for parking !! Also, very difficult to get to the parking area as motel and parking not in the same building !!

I had stayed at the moda before in one of their studio sweets on a weekday which was really nice. I rebooked in one of their queen suites because of the first stay but the room did not compare… it was pretty noisy and the furniture and bathroom weren’t really up to calibre for the price. Albeit it was okay for one night as I had an early flight in the morning and the location of the moda is close to the sky train. Wouldn’t stay here on a weekend unless you yourself are going out late because it is close to the bars on Granville and would likely be noisy.
