one night in a beautiful room, the staff was nice. The breakfast was ok, but not the best. It was served outside by the canal though, which was lovely! Nice neighbourhoo, not too busy.

Good hotel with friendly staff and you really feel like royalty when you enter the room:-) Breakfast was not so good with only croissants and youghurt. The beds were to hard. The location was excellent and the staff was really friendly:-)

Väldigt bra läge nära det mesta men ändå lungt.
Fantastiskt upplevelse av Venedig.Var där i 2 dagar och hann med att se och uppleva mycket.Tips är att ha med bra promenad skor :)

A real gem
I chose this hotel partly of its good reviews and i was not disappointed. With the prices in Venice this is a real find. Friendly englishspeaking staff. Very nice room. Marble bathroom is lovely. Breakfast at the canal. Flying colors.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Also, its within easy walking of the Venice's main train station. The Hotel Leone front desk, who look after the Ca Dogressa, were polite, professional and very helpful

The problem with this hotel is that the room had no heating. It seems to have been turned off given that it was late April However, I was unlucky enough to spend three days in Venice during unseasonably cold and very rainy weather. The room was like an icebox. Seriously - the thermometer got down to 15.9 Celsius one night (that’s a little under 60 Fahrenheit) but given the stone floors it felt much, much colder. And very damp. All I could do was take hot baths and stay in bed to keep warm. I hate to give a bad review to the hotel - it was clean, a good sized room, a wonderful view, nice staff and in an excellent location - but I was pretty miserable one of the nights when it was so cold. I slept with a sweater on under 3 blankets.

Stayed for two nights while in Venice. Great property. Close to the train station. Rooms are eclectic with a very charming energy. Shower clean and comfortable no issues. Room just big enough. Beds were pretty comfortable . Quiet area. Friendly check in staff. No elevators however the stairs are pretty low. Would stay here again.

Easily walkable from Venice train station. Friendly and helpful staff on reception - we were able to check-in early as the room was ready. Left luggage area in reception. Room was lovely, shower was amazing, quiet at night. Restaurants close by.

Abbiamo trascorso 3 notti presso l’hotel, scelto per la vicinanza alla stazione dei treni, a soli 8 minuti a piedi, ma passeggiata lunga per raggiungere piazza San Marco e le principali attrazioni. Bella la camera, soprattutto se, come a me, piace lo stile barocco, mi hanno colpito in particolare le travi da soffitto in legno, bello il bagno, kit cortesia fornito e sempre rimpiazzato, acqua free nel minibar ad oggi molto raro negli alberghi. Reception sempre scoperta, ci si tiene in contatto con un numero wathsapp, il pomeriggio precedente alla partenza mi sono preoccupata di scrivere io per il pagamento della tassa di soggiorno. Tuttavia dopo la mia partenza, ho cercato di contattare l’hotel in tutti i modi, messaggi, e-mail, per riavere indietro una cosa dimenticata in camera, a cui tenevo molto, ma non c’è stato modo di avere una risposta, questo sa di poca serietà, lavoro in hotel e normalmente si provvede a spedire qualsiasi cosa richiesta dal cliente, anche la più stupida. Se questo invece all’hotel Cà Dogaressa non è previsto, risulta difficile, quantomeno una risposta è gradita. Questa superficialità lascia un ricordo spiacevole della vacanza!

Very nice boutique-style hotel located close to the train station and various dining options. The staff were super kind providing us with local recommendations. The room was just beautiful, perfectly decorated and clean. Right along main canal and ~20 min walk to St. Mark’s square, which was perfect to avoid all the touristy bustle; our only regret is not being able to spend more time at this hotel!

Checking in Italian Style
Our stay was pleasant overall. One problem was that they hotel sent messages in Italian and I asked them to translate to English to no avail. They wanted us to check in and send documents ahead to get a code to enter upon arrival as no one was actually there to greet us. We were at sea on a Cruise and unable to check in so we went to the deli on the corner and he called them to let us in.

We just left Ca' Dogaressa in Venice, Italy. The service from Fabio was extraordinary. He ensured our stay was exceptional with attention to detail and a friendly demeanor. The spacious room had comfortable furnishings and tasteful decor, offering a delightful retreat. The hotel's high cleanliness level provided peace of mind, and as Shabbat observers, we appreciated the accommodation for our religious practices. Surprisingly, our room was ready before check-in time. Ca' Dogaressa exceeded our expectations, offering outstanding service, cleanliness, and comfort. Highly recommended for a memorable stay in Venice, Italy. POI: It’s in 4 minutes walking distance of GAM GAM the kosher restaurant where we ate our Shabbat meals & 6 minutes from the main synagogue at the Jewish ghetto. (10 minutes from Chabad & Ba’Ghetto restaurant).

Bonne localisation, en bordure d'un canal et près d'un arrêt de vaporetto, restaurants, boutiques et points touristiques facilement accessibles à pied. Bon accueil, chambre calme. En revanche vue depuis la chambre côté cour donne sur un mur mais pas gênant pour une nuit et petit déjeuner à prendre à l'extérieur.

2 nights- Budget hotel
The overall experience at the hotel was good. The customer service was good and the staff at the hotel where very friendly and helpful. The room however was very cramped and small. The TV is the size of a large Ipad and the beds are not the most comfortable. The shower is also very small in which it was difficult to move. The lcoation however is great, just a 2minute walk from Guglie station. The transfer as such from the airport was very easy.

Muy buena ubicación ya que para mi es mejor estar cerca del parking y de la estación porque Venecia es chiquito y se llega a todos lados fácilmente. A 10 minutos caminando de todo (SAN Marco, Rialto, lo que quieras). La habitación divina, el desayuno fabuloso, el Personal súper atento.

Very happy with our choice. Great location. Staff are attentive. Rooms are quiet, clean and wonderful hot shower (Venice in January is cold!! Make sure to bring slippers for the tile floors). Breakfast is simple but adequate, would only recommend the hotel to add boiled eggs to the assortment.
