“This Inn is definitely a step into history. The grounds are beautiful and from the moment you step into the foyer, you know you're someplace special. The staff is welcoming and friendly, the breakfast can't be beat, and the antiques throughout give the place a classic vibe. Can't recommend it enough!”

“I have to say the room and accommodations were even better than we expected! Our room was cozy, clean, and decorated with amazing historical touches. The host was very accommodating and welcoming. The rest of the property was amazing in itself! We went hiking and biking in the area. And, there are plenty of breweries and wineries to choose from. Be sure to visit the Stauton visitor center ... super friendly and filled with knowledge about the history and area attractions!”

“We pulled in at 5pm and were promptly greeted by Bill (Judie's husband). He checked us in and gave us a brief tour of the building and the farm. Our room was spacious and well appointed, and the bathroom with the slipper claw foot tub was very nice. It was modern but maintained much of the character we appreciate. “We were disappointed with our stay at the Buckhorn Inn. I had called the owner in the morning to let them know of our time of arrival and nobody was there to unlock the door for us. After waiting for twenty minutes we drove to the next restaurant to call them, since there is no cell phone reception at the Inn. “My family and I had a great time for our weekend getaway. Great location and amazing views! Very quiet neighborhood and so peaceful, especially at night. The house was very neat and clean and beautiful just like the pictures. Mary was a great host! She was very communicative before and during our stay. We enjoyed this trip at this home away from home. “The Valley Extended Suites is a clean, modern hotel that provides good value. Whether for a few days or just overnight, it has what is needed for an enjoyable stay. The only issue we had was with the thermostat on the HVAC system. While the system worked adequately, we had to turn the desired temperature way down (62 degrees) before the room was comfortable enough to sleep.
