The bathtub was luxurious, the views of bald eagles hovering over the Mississippi River was very neat, and enjoying the heated fireplace with some homemade treats rounded out a very relaxing weekend. The owners were also very quick to communicate and friendly when any questions came about. I already plan to come back for a girls weekend in the spring or fall!”

“The place was perfect for a two day trip. It was clean and had a great view of the little lake and fall colors. We were able to cook breakfast on the electric griddle provided, however, we were not able to grill the steaks we had planned because of no way to clean the grill. No problem, though, we just had an authentic German meal out instead.”

The area is really quiet, and outside from the Pinckney Bend Distillery there are not many activities you can do in the area. It does serve well as a place where you can easily go to Hermann or Washington (about 20 mins driving distance).”
