“Clean updated interior felt warm and comfortable after a rainy days on the beach clam digging. Easy stroll to beach and short drive to beach access by vehicle. Great wood burning stove. Nice woodsy view from deck and back house. Good setup for cleaning clams and fish outside. Big enough parking for boat trailer. Overall great for our needs. Looks like the owner is currently still at work making the place better.”

“CLEAN!! Abundance of towels, great information box with maps, brochures, etc. VIEW!! No words was so nice to sit near the shore and look at driftwood and rocks and seals. The backyard looked like a fairy land with the various plants and trees. Bruce was very easy and quick to communicate when booking. Lovely peaceful place- Thank you!”

“My partner and I had amazing stay here! We were here for 5 days and were every comfortable. It was such a cute little place that we really want to come back to. Right close to Olympic National Park (which is why we came) as well as Port Angeles. The owners were very communicative and responsive to any questions I had. Definitely recommend to stay here.”

“Loved the location of this property! Walking distance to the beach and a cute playground, great variety of restaurants close by in Westport and on the way. House was stocked with everything we needed and more and had plenty of space for my 2 young kids to spread out and play. Would definitely rent again!”

“Great location for doing anything on the North Olympic Peninsula. Freshwater Bay was lovely. Madison Falls trail was closed for repairs, so that was a bummer, but nice drive and views of a free flowing Elwha River. Nice place with a hot tub and the sound of the waves.”

“Very centrally located. Close to the park entrance and all the wonderful hikes we had planned. Just got off a cruise and needed to do laundry - there was one conveniently located not too far. Lots of options for groceries and restaurants close by. The home was clean and tastefully decorated. It was easy to find and had easy access. We cooked one of our meals in the nicely stocked kitchen. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you for having us!”

“The stay was awesome. Staff was really sweet and amazing. Only stucky thing was that when the people who had checked in to the room above us were really rowdy. We were a bit noisy due to our toddler, however we did apologize. The pillows were good but the beds were extremely stiff unfortunately. I was unable to sleep in the bed but the couch was semi comfy. Definitely recommend for families and was cool there was a full kitchen as well. ”

If you want to walk to the beach and knock yourself out in the rain digging your limit of clams and trudging back for beer and the freshest possible fried clams, then this it.”
