“Nice quiet stay away from the hustle of downtown Comporta (~12 min drive). I enjoyed walking to nearby local coffee shop for my espresso and the Leonardo supermarket for some daily supplies. I’m a little on the taller side; so, had to watch my head when walking through the doors (not an issue if one is under 5’10”). Otherwise, having a/c here is a big plus and necessary given the strong summer alentejo sun.”

Le logement se situe à 15 minutes du village d'ourique, bourg de 5 000 habitants, où on y trouve toutes les commodités pour passer un bon séjour et à une heure des plages. Encore merci à brian et lesley de leur gentillesse et à tous les animaux de la ferme d'avoir égayé notre quotidien (oies, âne, chien, chèvres...).”

“We had a marvellous stay in Garvaõ! The house is located in a very quiet place, but very close to the small town. The house is spacious and has everything you need. The owner is very helpful! He made sure there were radiators in the house (together with a wood stove) to get the house warm in December. We recommend the house!!”

“Book it now! Paul’s house is truly magnificent. It is the perfect combination of luxury and rustic. We liked it so much we changed our plans to tour the surrounding towns and instead spent two days lolling around the property. Paul is a tremendous host. He was kind enough to give us a small tour and explain the cork process to us and went above and beyond answering our many questions. There are lemon trees and orange trees that Paul encouraged us to enjoy which we did listening to the lambs baas...

“We had a really wonderful stay. The house and outdoor areas are fantastic. Carla was very responsive to questions. The beach at Carvalhal is a short walk away and is absolutely gorgeous. It's perfect for kids at low tide and ideal for beginner surfers. We are definitely going to return in the near future.”

“Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und die Umgebung ist und der Pool sind sehr schön. Allerdings stimmt das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis nicht. Im Inserat sind 2 getrennte Schlafzimmer beschrieben. Eines davon ist aber eine Niesche im Wohnzimmer, durch einen Vorhang abgetrennt, was eine Privatsphäre nur eingeschränkt möglich macht. Die Sitzmöbel sind total abgewohnt und auch die Matratzen sind so abgenutzt, dass am Morgen Rückenschmerzen vorprogrammiert sind. Bei Starkregen regnete es sowohl am...

“É a minha segunda vez no Monte do Giestal, mas tal como na primeira, uma estadia prolongada de 5 dias. Tudo é bom aqui, desde as amplas e equipadas casas, super confortáveis, ao espaço exterior, sossego, comida entregue a porta de casa pelas sempre atenciosas funcionárias que não deixam que falte nada. Mais, venho com o meu cão, de porte grande, e também ele adora o Monte. Tem bastante espaço para correr livremente e é muito bem recebido. ”

“We loved our stay of 2 nights at Casa Morgado Esporão. Joni and Ana were helpful and very nice. Communication with them was easy. The property is beautifully renovated and features two interior courtyards. Apartment was modern, comfortable and very clean. We only wish we would have know that the 2nd floor, which felt more like a 4th floor, had so many challenging stairs. The location was perfect we walked everywhere and enjoyed this charming and safe little town.”
