“This hotel is not really managed in any meaningful sense. Wifi went down for three days, which meant going off to another hotel to work. They gave me a carton of orange juice by way of apology! The lady at reception also didn't know that only one of the POS machines works for international cards so lots of time wasted try to make a payment. I checked out and moved to Nordic hotel -- more expensive but at least stuff works and you can get things done. I should say that staff at the View are...

“The reception had me wait for hours before I got my room. They said they couldn't see my booking in their system and they were not willing to help me even when I showed them my booking confirmation and receipt showing that I had payed. They did not make any effort to solve the problem and after several hours my booking showed up in their system, after that I finally got my room. Really disappointed with the lack of service and willingness to give me as a guest a good welcome.”

“Generally, the hotel offers no dining services. Rooms are not properly cleaned, such that there is always sand in the room. Sporadic electricity, such that most of the time you are in a blackout, especially when the genset runs out of gas. The aircon does not function sometimes, making the room to be very hot. The shower has no hold water and it is not functional as well. The hotel does not accept online booking especially through Expedia.”
