“This was our first trip to the Outer Banks as my daughter recently moved to Winston Salem from the Midwest. After researching the different parts of the Outer Banks, I knew we wanted to be in the Hatteras area as it is less crowded and touristy and we wanted to do some fishing. This house is in a perfect location and was very comfortable for the four of us. Roomy porch to enjoy cocktails and several very good restaurants nearby. Host was very responsive. I would certainly recommend.”

“Location was great and home has a lot of space. Upon arrival the hot tub had no power. Despite 2 work requests submitted over the weekend we had to call the main office Monday. They sent somebody over to fix the water heater? Finally got the hot tub resolved. Many lights were not working or completely missing bulbs. Home wasn’t very clean (filthy baseboards, cigarettes and beer cans in driveway, stained carpet, nail clippings throughout). Pool table had only one pool cue with a felt tip....

“I booked this for my parents. They loved this house and location. They said altho there were houses on both sides it felt secluded and quiet. They enjoyed the view from the deck, deer on the lawn, and fishing from the pier in the back yard. This is a place they would want to stay at again.”

“This is our second time there. Only negative thing is, could use some sprucing up like painting the ceiling in the downstairs bathroom and a few other small things. And get a better TV, satellite system. It took us a while to get it turned on, we had to reboot it. Other than that, we love the place!”
