“The tent was beautiful, cozy, dry (even while it rained), and full of charm. We enjoyed the comfy beds, warm duvets, and fully stocked kitchen. Enjoying the blue super moon from the front porch was an added bonus! Janet was a lovely host. Very easy to communicate with and the thoughtful touches like leaving basic supplies and homemade lemon cake were so appreciated as we had just arrived in Ireland. “We LOVED the whole concept of glamping…. It was a fun experience and would definitely try it again. The Hostess was just lovely and very helpful with all of our queries. A ‘gift’ of lemon cake was much appreciated. This was an adventure beyond our expectations…. For campers looking for a little more comfort, or to try camping, this is the place.”

“Mary's house was perfect for us. The location, privacy, views all wonderful. The house was very well equipped for our 5 night stay, we lacked nothing. Such a peaceful spot within a short drive of Ballyvaughan and several restaurant options. If you are looking for a quiet spot near all the Burren has to offer, this is your place!”

“Your just a couple mins from the town Doolin, the ferry to Aran Islands, Doolin Cave, the cliffs of Mohr, and Gus O'Conners. This place was massive and the beds were very comfortable. There were 3 living room areas. Extremely large kitchen to cook a large family meal if you want. Gas station right at the bottom of the hill. You cannot hear or "sea" the neighbors. The sunset is fantastic from thus overlooking the ocean. You are probably 6 mins from downtown Doolin. Plenty of parking and a ramp...

Great location, not very soundproof rooms
"We had a decent stay at Galmont. This review is based on a deluxe room with sea view. Good: - Close to train station and main streets. - Very friendly staff. - Spacious room with nice view. Could be better: - Soundproofing in rooms. We heard both TV noise and people talking from adjacent rooms. Noise from the road outside was also fairly audiable. Earplugs are highly recommended. - Draft from window, not very well sealed. - Quite slow and not very attentive service in the Coopers restaurant when we visited. Food was good though."
