“Quin is a great base for traveling around the west of Ireland. The house is so clean and comfortable. Quiet neighborhood, with the occasional moo from the cows in the field next door. Tony and Maria are welcoming hosts, the scones Maria made for us were still warm when we arrived. Quin is a lovely village a very short drive away. Abbey Tavern is great for a pint or a meal. Great location, not very soundproof rooms
"We had a decent stay at Galmont. This review is based on a deluxe room with sea view. Good: - Close to train station and main streets. - Very friendly staff. - Spacious room with nice view. Could be better: - Soundproofing in rooms. We heard both TV noise and people talking from adjacent rooms. Noise from the road outside was also fairly audiable. Earplugs are highly recommended. - Draft from window, not very well sealed. - Quite slow and not very attentive service in the Coopers restaurant when we visited. Food was good though."
