“The only thing i did not like was in my room no refrigerator and no microwave. Most motels nowadays at least provide these 2 things. Coming from a hotel that is known across Ontario and even Canada you would think every room would have both items! Otherwise a wonderful stay!”

“The hotel was conveniently located and reasonably priced. It was clean and well appointed and the management were friendly and helpful. However the only downside was that the wi-fi could not connect and we could not use our phones or tablets. We told management and they gave us alternatives, however, none of them worked. While it's not a huge issue, but rather inconvenient as there were a couple of things i needed to attend to, which i was not able to do.”

“We really liked this clean, comfortable hotel decorated with fun colours. We enjoyed a relaxing weekend. Swam in the salt water pool. Soaked in the hot tub. Convenient breakfast buffet each morning. We spent some time lounging in the yard. Many places to sit and unwind on outdoor chairs, loungers and a swing. Very handy location between Bayfield and Goderich. ”

“A very pretty place to stay, large room,small patio for most rooms, with outside table and two chairs,nice grounds, but a bit ,weedy ....it was quite early in the season, and that may have been the reason for the out side to look a bit Tired...comfy bed , big bathroom, clean and bright. we thought the breakfast was exceptional, and the lady at the office was quite cheerful and friendly, the view of the river and bridge was quite soothing...we are sure to return again, Wayne and Linda , and...

“This is clearly not to be confused with a 5 star hotel by any stretch. It was clean enough, the bathroom and shower acceptably clean. It's a roof over your head in a decent bed for the value price you paid. The A/C is wonky, but it works. If you are fussy and picky- maybe stay somewhere else. The location is unbeatable as is the value. ”

“We checked in pretty late due to traffic. But we had Wayne come out and give us the run down on the place. He didn't leave anything out. The communication with the host was unmatched. Super friendly and amazing the whole stay. If we needed anything they were there right away. The even brought out toys for our daughter to play with. Would definitely stay here again. Truly and amazing experience. Thanks again”

“This property is a dog owners dream! Huge fenced backyard so you don't have to have your pup on leash all the time and we had access to a private beach which my bulldog loved. We used the beach daily and never ran into another person on it. The town of Bayfield has water bowls for dogs outside most shops and again our bulldog was welcome most places in town. All of this made vacationing with our dog really easy - which was initially a worry of ours when booking time away from home.”

“The rustic cozy log cabin was a beautiful backdrop to spend time with my wife and friends. The cabin provided enough space for personal privacy while allowing time to socialize and nurture friendship. We spent a lot of time touring the Huron region and always felt excited to return to our rustic oasis. Leslie was always quick to answer our communication and created a welcoming environment.
