“Dalton was very responsive and helpful. The cottage had everything we needed, was cozy, with a stunning view. We’d love to return in the summer so we can enjoy the beach deck and other outdoor amenities, although the hot tub was lovely on the cold nights. Thank you! ”

“My cousins (female age 55-79) meet annually for a fun weekend together and this cottage was perfect! We had lots of room to spread out, there was even room for all ten of us to do yoga inthe living room! Overall it was VERY well equipped, clean, quiet and true to the AD description. May I suggest the basement sofa bed could be replaced. This cottage is EXCELLENT and we highly recommend. Thankyou George!”

Communication from our hosts was top notch, ensuring we knew how to find the property, clear check-in and checkout instructions, asking if there was anything we needed, recommending things to do around the area, and even personalizing our welcome card. From the moment we stepped out of the car, we could hear the waves of beautiful lake Huron crashing against the shore. This charming, historic, rustic cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway....

Everything was warm and inviting—from the welcome card and gift of honey to the wee (crocheted, not alive! ) mouse hanging out over the kitchen table. “Arrival was great. The house was warm and cozy with the gas fireplace creating ambiance and lights on in case it was dark when we arrived. The house was tidy and clean. The host checked in via text to make sure we were comfortable but was not at all invasive. ”

“Thrilled to have found this gem! We were looking for a place where 12 adults, 5 children and 2 dogs could celebrate an 80th birthday and this location did not disappoint!! It was less than 2 hours from home and everyone had time to roam, rest and relax. We had a catered meal on Saturday night so didn’t do much cooking but the house was well equipped for everything … lots of dishes and flatware!! We lucked out with weather and were outside most of the time but did enjoy the basement activities...
