“We had an absolutely amazing stay at The Island! It was extremely clean each staff member we passed by spoke and was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The pools were very clean as well! There was a few little restaurants food trucks and bars on the property. They had live music and fun things for the kids such as mermaid appearances. We loved this resort and will definitely choose it any time we come to Fort Walton. ”

“Good location, good views, comfortable stay. We walked to the beach almost every day. It takes about 7-10 minutes. We also walked to Walmart to pick up some groceries. It's about a 10 minute walk away. Notice: The shuttle doesn't run on Monday and Tuesday! Plan accordingly.”

“This condo was on the Gulf beach side with great access to the pools, lazy river, and beach. The location of the condo is right next to the end of the strip so it's quieter and very family friendly. In addition, the host is wonderful and has so much helpful info. Great experience, would return!”

“Beautiful clean condo. Ten minute walk to beach and dining spot. Beautiful pool and hot tub. Restaurants and shopping near by with all the activities available at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. We would stay here again.”

“From check in (other than the timeshare people we had to interact with to get our wristbands) to check out our stay was fabulous. The condo was the perfect size for myself and my daughter. The bed was super comfy, the shower was good size and the washer though small held quite a bit of laundry. We didn’t use the stove as I refused to cook while we were there…lol. If I had a complaint it would be the water pressure in the shower was lacking but we made it just fine. Would definitely stay again.”

“The condo was super clean and had plenty of room for me and my son. I searched and searched to find a place for the 4th of July that was basically last minute. The owner that rented it to me really went out of their way to make it work for us. This was our first time visiting the Destin area and this condo was right in the middle of the Sandestin Resort which is great place for families. I definitely recall this place for anyone on a budget.”

“Some reviews of others gave us some reservation of the place. My wife even asked me to buy bed bug spray before heading to FL. We would like to thank the owner for honoring the initial low asking price saving us some money from the last-minute rental. We were very glad we rent the unit instead of a hotel room. Certainly, the resort is not a 4*. So, we don't expect as such. It is better than 2* hotel. The check-in was quick. The unit is quite spacious. There are two large queen-size beds compared...
