“Great stay. My capsule was well equipped with dual USB-A/C ports and not a speck of dust in sight. This place is beyond clean - like the love child of Ikea and a Japanese capsule hotel. I don’t really have any negatives to speak of. They have daily activities (some paid, some free), a huge kitchen with a much welcomed free food basket, and a cheap cafe/bar with a nice 10% discount to make it even cheaper. Nothing to complain about here. ”

“Ett prisvärt boende. Jag hade ett enkelrum med delad dusch och toalett, kök och möjlighet till tvätt. Gästerna var yngre. Ett mycket trevligt ställe med gångavstånd till centrum. Väl underhållet.”

“Very good female bathroom, and well equiped kitchen. Friendly welcome! I do think it would come across a bit more friendly if guests were allowed to hang out at the rooftop or get access to the bathroom prior to check-in though, it's the standard you would expect. ”

“As an old guy, HiT was quite satisfactory. There are music venues close by, noise was an issue one night. The common areas could do with a spruce up .. ”

“Dirty bathrooms and kitchen, not up to the standard in regards to the price. And towels to hire are 10 dollars, not very sustainable considering a new one is like 6 dollars maximum (and just feels a bit cheap to be far)”

“It wasn’t at all as expected. The bed was so squeeky, as soon as you moved it made noises. Super thin walls, you heard everything (!) that the neighbours did. For that price though, I assume you can’t really expect too much but everything else was booked out this night in Auckland so there was no choice left really. If you’re 20 years old and don’t care too much where you live or how you sleep, absolutely a place that works. For me though, it was pretty awful. ”

“Vi stannade 3 nätter på detta hostel, vilket var vårat första stopp på vår resa. Det bästa med detta boende är läget, det är gångavstånd in till centrum och ponsonby road är en livlig och trevlig gata. Ett stort minus med hostelet är att det är extremt lyhört, vi vaknade i princip varje natt av andra gäster som festade eller bara pratade.”

“We booked this property because it was a handy location, unfortunately we had also booked it because it said we could have 3 separate beds and because I was booking it for 3 students that didn't really know each other it was appropriate they have their own beds. I have just been told they were only provided with a double and single bed. This has put me in a rather awkward position. They were not confident to ask for this to be changed.”

“Hobson lodge is a nice hostel. The kitchen is big so you always have space for cooking, also rooms and toilets are always clean. A friendly environment with people from all around the world.”

“Backpackers small building was crowded (taken over) by a bunch of thugs, having meetings inside. ”

“We arrived late so really appreciated the fully stocked pantry and fridge eggs juice bread fruit and so much more. There's a few steps up to the apartment but the view is worth it. The interior has all the luxury trimmings of five star retreat clean quiet super comfortable bed and each bedroom has it's own ensuite. Our hosts Tanya and Noel were so friendly and ready to help with anything we needed. Thank you for making the last part of our trip memorable”
