“This house proved to be an idea l place to spend a few days with grandparents, children and grandchildren. The facilities were fantastic and allowed us to enjoy our holiday despite very poor weather. The warm enclosed swimming pool enabled the grand children to improved their swimming skills and the movie screen and projector allowed the adults to catch up on some movies. I hope we get chance to return before long.”

“Staying in the lovely cottage in Shaldon was an absolute delight! The accommodation itself is excellent and close to amenities. The village boasts a bakery, inviting pubs, and the fantastic Clipper restaurant, ensuring there's never a shortage of delicious dining options. Additionally, the short walk to Teignmouth provided ample opportunities to explore the pier, browse quaint shops, indulge in cozy cafes, and even take a scenic ferry back to Shaldon, making it a truly memorable and picturesque...

“Well equipped one bedroom barn conversion in a secluded location. This was a real find and the ideal place for us to stay with our two dogs. This is a great base for exploring the local area. The hosts, Margaret, Ron and Sue were very friendly and the welcome goodies were much appreciated. This is probably the best self catering accommodation that we have stayed in. We would certainly return here if we are in the area. Thank you all”

“This charming house was full of character and super for a group of friends or family. Lovely decor with plenty of communal space as well as good sized bedrooms, with comfy beds and storage space. Such a treat to all be ensuite as well! A fantastic kitchen/diner, with everything you would need (including delicious cream tea on arrival) and an option to relax in the large lounge. We used all the parking options, even the cheap long-stay car park for the extra car, just a short walk away. Would...

“My family loved our stay at Little Redlap. The house is large and gorgeous, with traditional features as well as a modern, light-filled kitchen where we spent a lot of time together. My family enjoys walking, and the house is perfectly situated for a beautiful walk into Dartmouth in one direction, and a stroll to the Green Dragon pub in Stoke Fleming in the other direction.”

“What can we say other than “absolutely fabulous “. The house is amazing with beautiful views and facilities. Every bedroom is a good size so no one felt disadvantaged . The pool is perfect and beautifully warm . A big advantage is the local pub where we enjoyed a wonderful Sunday Roast . We felt very privileged to stay here and will visit again .”

“Our 3rd stay with Peggy at Brambles, we booked extra nights as it is such a gaven. The accommodation is better than described , very comfortable and for a family it’s a five star hotel but the freedom of self catering. Lots of lovely walks nearby and close to Thurieston beach and hope cove so plenty of walks , great food and accessible beaches nearby. Peggy is so welcoming and nothing is to big an ask ! Looking forward to our next stay !”

“Lovely spacious barn conversion in a quiet rural location within easy reach of beaches and eateries. The only downside was that all bedrooms are accessed by stairs which was a struggle but manageable for my elderly father. Overall a very enjoyable stay and I would very much recommend.”

“We had a very enjoyable stay in Chapel House. The house is a great place to relax and take in the wonderful views over the river. It is well equipped with comfortable beds & sofas. There are some great walks from the house with Dartmouth just a short ferry ride away. Very good breakfasts available 2 mins down the road at Ebb & Flow. Netflix was an added bonus.”
