“This idyllic home in the Highlands had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Communication with the property owner was a breeze, she was on site to welcome us and explain a few things when we arrived. Great restaurant recommendations to local gems were fantastic. Breakfast at Rain and a birthday dinner at Old Pines were amazing. Immaculate, comfortable and serene lodgings with amazing views of Ben Nevis. Wish we could have stayed longer!”

“We arrived at this cozy lodge after a long day of driving and exploring and were welcomed by the property manager and found the spot to be perfect for our needs. “The property location was perfect and beautiful. The lodge (Staffa) looks to be very clean and very modernly designed. It had everything we needed for the tree days journey. However, appliances in UK/Scotland are not the same as in the USA. Without instructions, we were able to figure it out after a couple of trial and error. “Sehr schönes, sauberes, gepflegtes, liebevoll eingerichtetes Häuschen. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt, es gab Tee, Kaffee, Zucker und Milch sowie Kekse. Sehr gemütlich, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Ca. 20 Gehminuten bis ins Zentrum von Fort William. Auch der Ben Nevis-Aufstieg ist zu Fuß erreichbar.”

“Stunning location for a relaxing holiday. Spent a week here with 2 children (ages 6 and 2) and had a great time. Safe outdoor space for the children to play in and they loved feeding the owner's chickens nearby. 5 minute walk to a pebbled beach which was ideal for tiring them out in the evening. Lots to do locally and further afield in Oban. The cabin is clean, with everything you would need for a weeks stay.”

“So we rented a pod. It looks lovely in the photos, but let me tell you what you really get. Firstly, I know it's only a pod, we weren't expecting the world. However, it has no cooker, no hob, no microwave, no toaster, and No Fridge ! A kettle a couple of cups a pair of knives and forks, but, no plates, no bowls ! Frankly it's pathetic. The floor by the bed squeaks terribly. Now let's talk about the bed. It's a mattress covered in plastic. Now I'm not as young as I was, but I don't need an...

“Die Lodge befindet sich etwas abseits einer Hauptstrasse im Wald und es ist sehr ruhig. Ein Auto ist von Vorteil. In der Unterkunft ist alles nötige vorhanden. Die Einrichtung ist sehr schön. Ein richtig gemütliches Holzhaus. Gerne wieder. Vielen Dank.”

“Karl was very helpful upon arrival showing us how everything worked and made sure we were comfortable. The only tiny thing was finding the Chalet as google maps pin was set to the field over so just drive another 50 yards after Google tells you have arrived but even then the local neighbours were lovely helping us find it and it was a beautiful area and thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!!”
