“We had a fabulous week at The Goatshed in early April. It is a gorgeous, quirky and cosy space to stay. Fida and Chris were the most thoughtful of hosts, so friendly and full of suggestions for great places to visit and always ready to help with anything. The house is excellently well equipped - everything we thought of, even things we thought we were unlikely to find, was somewhere in the house. We were very comfortable and relaxed the whole time. Cannot recommend highly enough!”

The swimming pool with shaded area was a real delight, especially during warmer days. Der Pool (leichtes Salzwasser) ist ein Traum. Sehr groß und in einem sehr guten Zustand - Top gepflegt. Auch der Garten ist ein Paradies. Der Vermieter ist absolut hilfsbereit und sehr nett. “Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in Sophias Haus. Sophia ist eine sehr nette, herzliche und ausgesprochen diskrete Gastgeberin. Insbesondere die Terrasse mit den tollen Pflanzen war ein absoluter Traum. Auch ihre zahlreichen Tipps für Unternehmungen, Strände und Restaurants waren toll und sehr hilfreich. Gerne immer wieder.”

“It’s traditional, rustic and private. Don’t expect modern wet rooms and high end kitchens. Beds are very firm. Access to main double bedroom is through twin bedroom. Mosquito screens on all doors and windows. Air conditioned. The owner lives in attached property and sweeps and cleans patio area and the pool every morning and waters the garden. Ideally placed close to a taverna, supermarket (fresh bread every morning) and car hire office. Short walk to idyllic beach coves and stunning coastline....

“We had a very nice stay at this astonishing "cottage". It was very calm at night and the little house has all inside you need. Outside is a large table with comfortable chairs. Nice details all around. To the beach it's a 4€-ride by taxi.”

Der Ausblick von der Terrasse ist wunderschön, die Küche ist toll ausgestattet und auch sonst hat uns nichts gefehlt. Ein toller Ort um den Nordwesten Kretas zu erkunden. Der Empfang von Michalis (Liebe Grüße) war sehr herzlich und der Kontakt zur Gastgeberin Maria lief schnell ukd reibungslos. “Hemos pasado unas vacaciones estupendas! La casa es muy amplia y cómoda. El jardin es precioso, lleno de flores y tambien muy espacioso y con mucha privacidad. La casa está en el pueblo asique hay un montón de tiendas para comprar comida, restaurantes, etc. La playa está tambien muy cerca, todo se puede hacer andando. Con un coche se puede visitar la isla, una isla realmente bonita y suave. Los duenos de la casa han sido encandores y nos han hecho sentir como en familia. Mil gracias Spiros!...

“Huset är charmigt, har 3 bra sovrum och ett kök som går utmärkt att använda. Det som verkligen står ut är ytorna utomhus med utmärkta möjligheter till att antingen sitta i solen eller njuta av miljön i skydd från solen. Poolen är väldigt fin och var en självklar samlingsplats för oss efter vi varit på stranden. Allting är mycket välskött och man kommer och städar vart 3-4:e dag. Vi är mycket nöjda med vår tid, jag har varit där med min tonårsdotter i 2 veckor och vi fick lugnet vi var ute...

“A lovely, small Cretan House with big personality. The patio area is where we all lived for two glorious weeks. The house is on a dirt track which makes the privacy fairly complete. The air conditioning makes sleeping a lot easier. Some of the the local feral cats make their prescence felt and, if you feed a cat once it will demand feeding again.
