“We enjoyed our time. The proximity to Sir Sam's Skiing was excellent. There are a lot of stairs in the Chalet, all wood so our legs were tired at the end of it. The ice on the driveway posed a hazard and I had the best wipe out of the week, not on the ski hills but on the driveway. Otherwise, the accommodations proved to be everything we needed and were looking for. Overall I would highly recommend this property.”

“Many thanks to Debbi and her family for hosting us in this lovely chalet. We visited during the winter and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the chalet. I thought that I would miss having access to an oven but it turned out that the stove top and toaster oven met our needs. A walk to the Gerber beach and view of the frozen Golden Lake was lovely. Thanks again.”

“The house was even better than the photos which is rare. So much to do and nice and close to the ski hill. We loved our Family Day weekend and would definitely return to this house.”

“My family enjoyed our stay, the place was amazing and very big, lots of stuff to do, however, the beach isn’t the best and too small too many people for a small beach! It’s best for relaxing and just hanging out with the family, and that is just what we needed to bonded. The host was very helpful and always there to answer any questions! I will recommend this place for your family vacation!”

“Excellent value for the money. The resort has gone out of their way to provide outdoor games canoes, a paddle boat etc. all at no extra charge. Clean and spacious. Our second year here, and we plan to make it an annual trip. Only complaint was the weather. ”

“Our scout group stayed at this property for a Haliburton event weekend. We had a fabulous time. Curtis is very responsive, and accomodated our extra guests. We will certainly consider renting again in the future!”

“It is a picturesque cottage with everything perfectly maintained. There was a great view of the lake and excellent lighting; and a forest behind the cottage. Foosball and air hockey tables in basement were great fun as was the hot tub which is on a large deck. Barbecue is conveniently near to sliding doors of cottage on a balcony. Bedrooms are spacious. Secluded, but only a brief drive to top grocery store and conveniences.”
