“While it seems we were the only patrons during our stay, the location was very clean and tidy. Our stay was relaxing and we’re heavily considering coming back during peak season!”

“It was unbearably hot in the room. Screen on sliding door was broken so we couldn't leave the door open. Only one of three windows had a screen. Thermostat was set to off but one of the electric heaters was blasting heat. It was a very uncomfortably hot night with only one window open. Air conditioner was not installed. “We stay in this wonderful place near Old Killaloe with my family. Maria was super nice and welcome us with very tasty muffins and fresh tomatoes directly from the garden. It was really easy to communicate with her. The lodge is completely independent but if you need something, you just cross to the main house where Maria stay. The place was clean, all furnished, fully equipped (tv, books, board games) and just renovated. The garden is really beautiful and we just take a walk with my kid to see...

“My family stayed here with my brother’s family and it was a great size for our group of eight. We actually had a bedroom and bathroom to spare. Everything is like new and very beautiful. The place is well stocked and the whole stay felt very easy. Highly recommend!”

“Great place just by the lake. Modern and nice room but we could really use aircondition or at least a fan. We didn’t have any cleaning or change of towels. Nice coffee kitchen to use. Great swimming and BBQ areas. We had a great stay. ”

“We arrived at around 7:15pm, but the door of the reception was closed! And they even didn't accept us to have the dinner at its restaurant, the staff said the lastest reservation time for the dinner was at 6:45! We stayed at a room, not a cottage, we can hear the people who stayed next room, talking clearly just as they were sleeping beside you, it is not private at all!”

There is always something of interest to do here, whether it be hiking, paddling on the pond, relaxing or reading. “Excellent value for the money. The resort has gone out of their way to provide outdoor games canoes, a paddle boat etc. all at no extra charge. Clean and spacious. Our second year here, and we plan to make it an annual trip. Only complaint was the weather. ”

“It is a picturesque cottage with everything perfectly maintained. There was a great view of the lake and excellent lighting; and a forest behind the cottage. Foosball and air hockey tables in basement were great fun as was the hot tub which is on a large deck. Barbecue is conveniently near to sliding doors of cottage on a balcony. Bedrooms are spacious. Secluded, but only a brief drive to top grocery store and conveniences.”
