“Cottage was so fun! Loved knowing how old it was! We were 8 people, which was lots for 1bath, but it all went well. Fire pit was a gold star, plus the wood provided. Well equipped kitchen and no shortage of chairs for all of us. Would have liked at least one full length mirror, but no big deal. Had a blast! Thanks, Erik for your hosting and generosity. Erik made things all go well.”

“This property had plenty of room for our family. Although the main portion of the house is not air conditioned, the bedrooms all had room air conditioners. We really enjoyed being right on the lake. The property between the house and the lake isn't big, but it's very nicely shaded and we spent a lot of time out there. The kids loved the fishing. The cleanliness of the property was an issue. Carpets had crumbs and were dirty. Bathroom wasn't cleaned well. The house clearly had not been dusted...

“I reserved this place for the solar eclipse weekend months before. There were no reviews yet as it was a new listing, but I took a risk. I reached out to owner after reservation never heard anything. About a month out, I double checked to make sure I had a reservation since I hadn’t heard anything, and I did. “My brother and I made this reservation to honor our father who passed away in in 2021. The cabin was perfect because of his love for the outdoors including its location nestled in a quiet cove. The cabin is definitely rustic. It had everything we needed including a beautiful view, and peaceful atmosphere. Plenty of firewood and the necessities for those who enjoy simplicity.
