The views from the doors and windows out to the loch opening are stunning and the sun sets out over the islands and water making every clear night magical. “We loved our stay at Ridge Edge Cottage! The neighbors (and their dog) were wonderful and it was so fun to live among the locals for a few nights. You have everything you need here including a washing machine (no dryer). The dishes were not all clean in the cabinet but that was an easy fix with the dish soap provided. It is quite far from Portree (45-60 minutes) but well worth the drive. ”

“Hugh's house was so homey and comfortable! AMAZING views all around, sheep to watch out back. While remote, it's close to many famous trails and a cafe nearby. While unmarked and a white car sits next to (we thought someone was in it), pay attention to the pics and map. We went mid-May and us visitors were already picking up. Eine schöne Beschäftigung bei Ebbe. Den Ofen haben wir mit dem vorhandenen Holz nicht angefeuert bekommen. Wegen der Heizung war es aber trotzdem warm. Übergabe war ohne persönlichen Kontakt, was wir schade fanden.”

“Annie’s cottage is in a lovely terrace, great for kids as there’s a fantastic playground a minute away. The rooms are all good sizes and well decorated. The house is a little damp and could do with updating in some parts but overall we had a great stay in Skye.”
